Dear Father




As I go to bed at night I offer a special prayer
Thanking Dear Father for his love and tender care
Dear Father I pray for thy guiding light
To help me overcome the hardships and always stay in thy light
Help me Dear Father to understand,
the things that are difficult the task on my hands
Help me to raise my children keep them in thy care
Help us to be happy to love and always share
Dear Father I thank thee each day of my life
For all thy blessings for all that's nice
Dear Father I thank thee for kind and loving friends
The joy they bring me is without end
How can I repay thee for all that thou hast done
Not just for me but for everyone
I am so thankful for all that I have
I know there are many who are rather sad
Dear Father I thank thee for my faith
It carries me throughout each day
Because I know that in the end
Jesus will be my Eternal friend.
