What Special Friends You Are




What Special Friends you are
Who came into my life
I know you're so loving
And oh so very nice
You touch the lives of others
With your special kind of deeds
Of love and compassion
For those who are here in need
I know without a doubt
Our Heavenly Father loves you so
He's blessed you with the greatest gifts
With much beauty and hearts of gold
You've touched my life in a special kind of way
Because of being just a lovely friend
The stars in the sky, my rainbow without end
For your unconditional love for others
The example that you are
Of how all men shoud be
You're like a shining star
How Thankful I am
For the simple things in life
For having loving friends
Who have come to bless me
And for being more then nice
I'll pray for you always
And keep you forever near
I'll always remember you
From year to year
My friend I want you to always know
That I'll never forget you till the day I die
All because you were like the rainbow
In the bright morning sky.
