When Life Gets You Down




When life gets you down
And the skies seem very gray
When your heart is troubled
And your tears won't go away
When the sun won't shine
And the skies aren't blue
Just remember God is there for you
There is some kind of power
From one so very true
He watches from so far above
And wants you to know it too
So when life gets you down
And you don't know what to do
Always turn to God
And know he loves you too
After the rain and showers
And stormy days go by
There are always brighter tomorrows
With sunshine in the sky
When life gets you down
And you think you're all alone
Just think of all your blessings
And all that God has shown
When life gets you down
And the sunshine won't shine
Just think of the happiness
That will be yours and mine
If you but have faith
In all the things you do
God in his great mercy
Will see you through and through
There are bright tomorrows
With rainbows in the sky
Makes you feel so happy
You just want to cry
Because God has blessed you
With his riches kind of gifts
It's worth more than anything
Because it brings much happiness
The love God has for me and you
We just can't comprehend
His Eternal Blessings
Will come in the very end.
