Rain
Listening to the sounds of a late summers rain
Calming as it sounds to beginning a new day
Feeling the freedom to write underneath the nature’s song
With feeling of the sense to belong
In your arms and beside your heart
Underneath it all we could never part
You are my rain that falls wet upon my head
That thunderous boom that tells me this is where my heart will be lead
Glistening shiny and smooth with a soft gentle touch
Never see it go away but when it’s gone you miss it so much
She comes to me with a gentle blowing of the breeze
You hear her as the leaves of the trees
As she speaks to you calming your body
There is nothing better to think of hardly
She is the one that stands you tall and proud
As if you could reach up and touch the clouds
She is your guiding light and that shooting star
That tells you can go anywhere no matter how far
She will be there always near
By your side you shall never feel any fear
But she is not the one that always gives
You are the one that gives her strength to live
The way you smile at her with that glance
As if were there in the stars in a never ending dance
Holding her solid and strong
Supporting her wishes no matter how long
Carrying each other within our hearts
We may live in different worlds but we will never be apart
The rain falls in many places not just mine
It is the love we seek in the moment in our time
She is showering me with her love
She will know when it rains I am her shower from above
There is something to be said for when it rains
I am just glad that she came to me today
