Chapter 7: Changes

Lizzy could feel he was nervous. It was so quiet you could hear the clock ticking. It was driving Ash crazy.
"I'm so nervous." They sat there waiting for his turn."It helpes to have you here. Thank you."
"No problem Ash. Your gonna do great. Just be yourself and I know just that will get you the part."
"Ashley Angel next."
"Here we go."
"Goodluck Sweetie."
ASh sat there waiting for the people to cue him. "Breath ASh. Just think of Lizzy and the words will flow. You want this" He thought.
"Ok you can begin. Your the last guy to audition. Good Luck."
He sang with all his heart. And it showed. As he ended they sat there for a minute. In total shock and wrote things down.
"Ok well Ashley we'll contact you if you made it. And young man... I have one question.did you write that yourself?"
"Yes."
"Very good. I can tell. You really felt the words you were saying. Ok you can go now." He came out smiling.
"So? How did it go?"
"I think they liked me."
"Oh Ash! I know you made it. I can feel it!" She embraced him. The guy who talked to him passed them and pointed to Lizzy. Ash shook his head yes and the man smiled.

*the next day*
"Wake up Lizzy!It's like 3:00. You fell asleep" She opened her eyes to see Ash.
"What? Is something wrong."
"No nothing at all. Lizzy, I made it!!!" She jumped out of bed.
"Ohmigod Ash!! Congradulations."
"I couldn't have done it without you you know! I'm so happy!" He picked her up and spun her around. He put her down and saw her smile and something came over him. He put his lips on hers. She didn't move at first. She started to kiss him back, but stopped herself. She pushed him gently away.
"Oh god Lizzy i'm sorry... I don't know why..I...i'm..."
"It's ok Ash. I'm happy for you. Don't worry about it." Christina came home and Ash told her the news.
"Oh Ash! I knew you would. I'm off early today. We can celebrate later."
"I can't."
"Why?"
"They want me to go meet the guys in an hour. And meet this guy named Lou Pearlman. He's suppost to help us start out."
"Oh! ok! We can celebrate later. What kind of group is it?"
"It's pop. There's four other guys in it."
"Hey you never know. you could be opening up for Nsync."
"Who's that?" Lizzy asked.
"Ohmigod. you don't know who they are?"
"Nope. Do you Ash?"
"Yeah. Their good. that would be cool! I asked them if I could bring you guys. and they said only one person."
"Well Lizzy you can go. I gotta go to work. Well,Congrads Ash. You deserved it.See you later."
"Well, i'd better get dressed......

They arrived at the address they gave him. It was a huge house.
"This must be Lou's place." They walked in the huge house. A big fat man greeted them. You must be Ashley. I've heard great things about you." He shook his chubby hand. "Well, Erik is already here. The others will be here soon. Who's this?'
"It's my best friend Lizzy."
"Nice to meet you." He led them into the room.
"Erik this is one of your group mates Ashley."
"Nice to meet you Ashley." He shook Ashs hand.
"You too man." They all sat down on the huge couch. They all sat there. Ash and Erik talked getting to know each other. They laughed a lot. The next to show up was Trevor. The three of them got along very well.
"Wow.That Trevor is a hottie." Lizzy thought. The other three guys showed up. The other guys names were Dan and Jacob. They all got aquanted. Lizzy just sat there listening.
"Who's this?" Trevor asked.
"This is my best friend Lizzy."
"She's a little quiet." Jacob said
"Well, I didn't want to interrupt." After that, lizzy was engaged in the conversation. Telling them things about Ashley and his habits.
"Wow. how long have you guys been friends?"
"A longg time."
"I can see that." Dan said.
"You got a hottie on your hands Ash!" Trevor said.
"Yeah. And she can sing!!" Ashley sat up.
"Really? Let's hear!" Dan asked.
"No! I can't."
"Cmon! I dare you!" Jacob yelled.
"Ut oh." Ash said. "You dared her. Your in for it now!" She started to sing Christina Aguilerias i turn to you.
"WOW! you got talent girl!" Dan yelled with his slight lisp.
"We saw your audition video Ash. you wrote that song? It was good. Who were you talking about?" Jacob asked.
"Oh...om.."he looked at Lizzy."Nobody in paticular." Trevor got the hint. He changed the subject.
"Anyways...who all has girlfriends?"
"I do!" Dan responded.
"Me too" Jacob said.
They all talked, and laughed, Getting to be friends. Lou interrupted them.
"Well, now that we all know each other. We can start." They did everything from personalities to harmonies.
"Wow guys you have good harmony."Lizzy said.
"They do" Lou said."Weve got winners here!"

** months past. And the group had struggles. But in the end they were a tight knit group. They still needed work, but who doesn't. They were signed to a record label. They did their first gig in a middle school. Their harmonies got better. And they worked their butt off learning dances and songs. Ash was incredibly busy. Lizzy barely saw him. Drastic changes started to happen. **......

Ash and Lizzy at one of his days off....
" I'm so proud of you. Youve gone so far. I'm glad your dreams are coming true ASh."
" Thank you Lizzy. Me and the guys told Sam about you."
"you did? "
"Yeah. And he wants to hear you at our next meeting."
"Oh Ash! Thank you!!"
"Anything for you." the phone rang.
"I'm so sorry Lizzy. I've got to go." He kissed her cheek. "Luvs ya girl." Lizzy got very lonely. She usually spent a lot of time with him, but he's been so busy. She understood though. she'd never complain about it. she'd never let him let her get in the way. It meant too much to him.
She decited to go somewhere by herself. And meet some people. As she stopped at the light she looked over and saw the most gorgeous thing she'd ever seen. He had dark hair, with a chisled face. He smiled at her. She was in shock. He drove away.
She went to a coffee shop. She had her coffee in her hand and suddenly bumped into some guy.
"Oh god! I'm so sorry!"
"It's alright." She looked up. It was the guy at the stop light. He was even more gorgeous up close.
"You look familiar. did you happen to be at the stoplight?" He joked.
"Yeah that was me."
"What's your name?"
"My name is Lizzy Angelen?" He kissed her hand. His eyes were a beautiful blue. She almost fainted. He Smelled so good.
"Nice to meet you lizzy."
"What's your name?"
"My name is JC. JC Chasez."

Chapter: 8

"That's an interesting name. Is it French?"
"Yeah. Would you like to sit with me?"
"Yeah sure." Her heart was racing. They sat down.
"So... i've never seen you around here?"
"I just barely moved here from California."
"How old are you?"
"Oh...i'm 19."
"Well, i'm 24. an old fart."
"I just barely got out of Highschool a couple of months ago. Well... a lot of months ago."
"Oh! i see. Well welcome to the land of oprotunities!"
"Yeah, well I haven't had any luck with that."
"What do you mean?"
"Well I moved here to get somewhere. And I haven't been sucessful."
"What do you do? Sing?"
"Yeah. And dance. I was in a group in highschool, but they went their own way. My friend Ash is suppost to help me. He has connections."
"Well, there you go. And now you have me. I have tons of connections."
"How is that?" He couldn't believe it. Someone who didn't know who he was.
"Finally! And she's cute too." He thought.
"Ohmigod!!! your your" A girl ran to the table."Here we go" He thought.
"Can I have you autograph!!" He signed a napkin for her.
"And a hug?" She shook and almost knocked him over.
"Oh thank you!!" she ran outside jumping up and down.
"Let's get out of here. Do you want to go somewhere. that's not PUBLIC."
"Oh i don't know. I barely know you."
"Ok well I guess i'll see you later, but I REALLY got to go."
"Wait..." She was not going to ruin this oprotunity."I'll go with you, but what about my car?"
"Just follow me." they both jumped into their cars. He was speeding. They finally got somewhere.
"Where are we?"
"Oh this is just my house. Don't worry. I'm not going to try anything with you. I respect women and their bounderies." He grabbed her hand. There were other cars.
"Are there people here?"
"Probably my friends. Don't worry they won't bite." They walked into the huge house. As they walked into the livingroom there were four guys sitting on the couch. They were watching a porno.
"nice selection" Lizzy laughed. They all turned to them.
"Om guys.... turn that off!!"
"Oh shit! We didn't know you had company. Who's this?" A blond haired guy stood up.
"This is Lizzy. I met her today."
"Wow JC that was quick."
"Shut-up Justin! Only you ! Anyways this is Justin. He's a little young so you'll have to excuse his rudeness, This is Chris,Joey,and Lance." Lance stood up.
"Nice to meet you...Lizzy." the other guys said hello.
"Wow she's not screaming ohmigod!" Chris said.
"Why would I do that?"
"OOOHHHH. No reason." Joey said.
"Well do you want something to drink?" Lance asked.
"No thank you." she sat on the couch between Lance and JC. they all sat and just talked. She was in a room with five hott guys. What more can a girl ask for? "The cute blond haired guy...Lance is very cute. The dark haired guy...Chris cracks me up! I'm not sure if i like that Justin guy. That joey though..he has a great personality. And JC the more and more he talks the more I like him." She thought.
"So Lizzy do you got a man?' Jc listened carefully.
"Oh no. I just moved here not too long ago."
"Oh well it looks like JC is gonna get some lovin then."
"Fuck you Justin! If your gonna be like that leave!"
"Sorry dude! I was joking" Lizzy could tell underneth that tuff guy attitude Justin was a good guy.
"It's ok Jc. No Justin he's not getting any from me at least!" She laughed. Jc was pleased at her sense of humor. "So how long have you guys known each other?" They all were shocked.
"A long time. Were in a group." Chris said with a smile.
"Oh cool! So is my friend Ash." Jc tried to avoid any talk about the group. The group was not mentioned again.
"Well, Lizzy your really cool and we should all hang out again,but i think were gonna go huh guys?" Chris said.
"Yeah" They all said.
"Yeah and i'll bring my friend Christina too."
"Is she cute?" Lance asked.
"Yeah she's gorgeous."
"Cool." they all exchanged hugs. "Bye Lizzy!" they all shouted.
"so waht do you think of my friends?"
"Thier cool."
"You'll have to excuse justin."
"Oh no.It's ok.Really."
"You have a good sense of humor. I like that." Just by looking in his eyes gave her chills all over.
"Do what do you want to do?"
"I don't know...talk. I want to know stuff.....about you."
"Just as long as you do the same." She smiled and they had a long conversation. He was so sweet and funny.
"Wow Lizzy. We have a lot in common."
"Yeah we do." She so wanted to kiss him. He had lips that made her swoon. It was like he read her mind. He looked deep into her eyes. She saw the same glow she'd always see in Ashs eyes.
"Can i ask you something?"
"Yeah."
"Well, this might seem way out of left field, but can i kiss you?" she shook her head yes. Before she could get a peep out he had his lips on hers. A gentle very nice kiss. It seemed like the moment had stopped. The rest of the world didn't exist. It was just them. He gently sucked her bottom lip and she did the same to him. Unfortunely good things must always come to an end. They parted.
"Wow." He said. He wrapped his arms around her.
"This is not like me. I useally wouldn't do that so soon. But it's ok."
"Is feels like i've known you forever Lizzy."
"You feel like that too?"
"Why do you?"
"Yeah.." she closed her eyes and enjoyed being in someones arms. It was hard because of Ash, but this man before her was too precious to let go. It just felt so right. Hours past. They talked and talked till they couldn't anymore.

"Well, let's go take you home." They both got into thier cars. They arrived at her house. They stopped in front of the door and exchanged another kiss. Someone was watching them. The guy watching them didn't get a good look at who was kissing the love of his life. The stranger drove away before he could. It was Ash.
"Who was that?" He asked Lizzy.
"Oh just this guy I met today."
"And your already kissing him?! Are you not thinking!" his tone was harsh. He had to fight the tears.
"Ok Ash your overreaccting."
"No i'm not! you never know what he's all about! He could be a a."
"A rapest?"
"Oh no. Lizzy...I didn't mean..."
"Just leave me alone!" She ran in her room and closed the door. Ash knocked
"Go away!" he opened the door and sat next to her.
"Look i'm sorry ok. I did overreact. I'm sorry." he made puppydog-eyes and hugged her and she hugged him back.
"How can i stay mad at you!"
"You can't.So...how is he?"
"Oh Ash he's perfect! He's funny,nice,and we have a lot in common. He makes me feel....I don't know how to explain it. Do you know what i'm trying to say? I'm sure this has happened to you."
"Yeah."
If she only knew......

Chapter 9

next morning....

"Hey Ash when is that meeting?"
"Tomorrow."
"Ok. Do you guys work today?"
"No."they both awnsered
"Good.Cause I want to you to meet Jc."
"Who?" Christina asked.
"Ohhhhh. This guy I met yesterday. He's so sweet and funny. We talked forever yesterday. And I met his friends. They were cool. I told them i'd bring you over sometime Christina. But I want both of you to meet him. I'm gonna stop by his house and go get him and see if he wants to come over. Ok? I'll be back soon. Bye guys." she rushed out of the house.
"Wow. Did you know about this guy Ash?"
"Yeah. I saw them kissing yesterday."
"Oh Ash. i'm sorry."
"It's ok. She just don't think of me like that. And now with this new guy...i've lost her. I can feel it. This is it."
"No it's not Ash! Don't you give up on her!"
"Look Christina. I know your trying to help me, but lets face it. It's over and I need to get over her..... i'm ok." He stared off into space.
"You don't fool me Ashley Angel."

Lizzy knocked on his door.
"Coming!"
"It's Lizzy!"
"Wow hi.....good to see you!" He hugged her.
"Hi. I was just wondering if you wanted to come over to my place and hang out. and I want my friends to meet you."
"Oh ok. Well, do you mind waiting ? I have to take a shower."
"No not at all." She came in the house. Lance was sitting on the couch.
"Dang! Is this like the hangout?" she asked jokingly.
"Yeah! You know, me and Jc we are lovers...... naw i'm kidding!"
"Hey don't tell our secret!" Jc shouted as he went into the bathroom. They all laughed.
"So...Lizzy whats up?"
"Nothing. I just invited jc to my house. Hey! I got a great idea! Do you want to come with us? I'd really like you to meet Christina."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah it's no problem."
"You really like Josh don't you?"
"He's a good guy."
"Lizzy....he's my friends and all but so are you....I just want you to be careful with him ok? He like to...well...mess around a lot. So don't get too involved. Don't get me wrong...he's a great guy. I just want you to be careful ok?"
"Ok Lance." she got confused."Maybe he's pulling my leg. Jc doesn't seem like that." She thought. He came out of his room and sat down next to them.
"Well, are you ready to go?"
"Yeah.And Lance is gonna come with us k?"
"Yeah that's cool. Lets go."

"Ash. You don't fool me. I know you love her. Don't let this...guy get in your way."
Right then Lizzy came in.
"I'm home guys!"
Ash and Christina looked up. In total shock. Ash's heart sank.
"This is JC. and his friend Lance." Christina looked over at Lance. He smiled at her. Her heart melted.
"Ohmigod!!!! Your..I mean my name is Chrrrriiissstina."
"Are you ok?"
"It's soo nice to meet you..." Ash stood up.
"What is going on? Christina looks like youve seen a ghost."
"Lizzy you don't know who they are?"
"No! what do you mean?"
Jc turned to her."I wanted to tell you...."
Ash interuppted."We'll leave you two alone."
"I told you we were in a group...well...were from NSYNC."
"Oh man! Your kidding right?"
He put his head down "No."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Well, I...I saw you and after talking to you...well...I didn't want to you to like me cause I was famous ya know. Your so different then what I normally deal with. I've been in love many times...but then found out in the end...they only wanted my money. I don't know....there's something about you Lizzy. You seem different then the others. And you care a lot about people. "
"Oh Jc. I like you for being JC, but wow. I'm with a huge popstar. I would have never thought."
"So were..together huh?" He asked smiling.
"Yeah.... Arn't we?"
He looked at her with those eyes. As their lips met."Yes."
Ash walked in at the wrong time. He saw it again. The women he's loved forever is now someone elses. He relized that completly now.
"Oh..... Man...i'm sorry."
"it's ok ash. you guys can come in now."
"so..are you ok now Lizzy?"
"Yeah i'm fine. It's just shocking." they all sat down in the living room. Her and Jc cuddled while Christina drooled over Lance. And ash sat there. Alone. killing him inside having to see them.
"So Ash. I heard you were in a group."
"Yeah. It's called OTown."
"Oh really? I've heard about you guys."
"You have?"
"Yeah..... maybe we could all work together on something. Actually...were looking for an opening act. Maybe me and the rest of the guys will go check you out at your next gig."
"That would be really good!"
"Yeah. and if we like ya. you could...maybe tour with us. Are you guys ready for touring?"
"Yes. Very! The album is done. And weve already started choregrpahy"
"Well, the tour isn't for a couple of months. When are you guys gonna do your first music video?"
"Were suppost to have a meeting about it tomorrow."
"Perfect! by the time it's out the tour would be almost here.When is your next gig?"
"In a couple of days."
"Well, me and the guys are off for a week. We can go check you guys out."
"Ok."
"Ash and the group have come along way. I'm so proud of him." she smiled at him. there it was. That smile he fell in love with. He looked at her and Jc. "She's happy. that's all i've ever wanted. Is for her to be happy." He thought." But I still love her." Lance came away from his conversation with Christina and looked over at Ash.
"Are you ok man?"
"Huh? Oh yeah."
He whispered to Christina." What's the deal with him?"
"Don't say anything but he loves Lizzy."
"I figured that. I can tell. By the way he looks at her." he looked at her with those gorgeous green eyes." I like you Christina. Your cool."
"I think your great too."
"So how are you guys doin over there?" Lizzy asked.
"Nunya!" Lance yelled.
"well, i'm gonna go take a nap." ash said."Lizzy don't forget the meeting tomorrow." Before she could respond he was in his room.
"What's wrong with him?"
"He's just tired." Christina said.
"Excuse me for a sec guys." she went into his room.
"Ash? Are you ok?"
"Yeah i'm just tired"
"Oh... you guys seem like your cool. What do you think of him?"
"He's cool. I just want to know one thing. Does he make you happy?"
"Yes. Very. It's really soon, but I think i'm falling in love with him."
"I'm glad Lizzy. Really I am."
"I love ya Ash. you know that."
"Yeah. I do."
"Please go. I'm tired."
"Ok Ash." she kissed his forehead. As soon as she left he broke down. He started to see all their memories. It made him smile, but reality would hit. And the smile left his face. All he wanted was her love. "I thought she was my destiny." He thought. "I was wrong."
Christina went into the room. She saw him crying.
"Oh Ash." She embraced him. He held her tight.
"Damn you Lizzy." she said quietly.
"Christina.I..."
"Shhh. I'ts ok. You don't have to say anything. I know Ash. I know."
