1989 - Canadian East Coast

This was the first ever road trip my family had ever taken! My family along with my Aunt Joyce (who was visiting from Hong Kong) hopped into our '84 green Volvo and headed for the east coast. We had a chance to stop by Montreal, Quebec City and Fredrickton. Our main destination for this trip was Prince Edward Island. I remember we stayed in this tiny cottage and cooked tons of lobsters and oysters! It was awesome! I even got to play miniture golf for free (the people that owned the cottage also owned a miniature golf course and they liked me! hehe). I also remember half way through our trip our car broke down and we had to fork over tons of money to fix it! That was pretty bad! The beaches there are so nice! I also got a chance to visit the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, which is an old army barrack. It was on this trip that my dad first taught me how to skip rocks! :)
