There was a child-a bright,young boy

An average boy-favorite food,favorite toy.

He grew in a World-with different beliefs

As You and I-with so many Griefs.

He searched his Soul-or should I say...

His Soul searched him-to show Him the Way.

His Heart was pure-his eyes awake

His mind aware-of Great Mistake.

He walked among cities-to share the Word

He had faithful Followers-his "Soul-Found"Herd.

He had Love in his heart-as it should be for All

He was here to teach-He heard the Call.

He followed his Soul-ignoring the talk

Of people who would ridicule-judge,and mock.

He held the answers-and wanted to share

To fill the World-with Love and Care.

He knew of beginning-He knew of End

But his belief-did not blend.

He was hung on a cross-for showing the World

They couldn’t accept-they rebelled and quarreled.

He knew of Home-and it wasn’t here

He said to love-and not to fear.

But Fear is what-the World enjoys

A twisted feeling-that Faith destroys.

He was killed for telling-that God is Love

That God dwells inside-not "up above".

That God loves all-He sheds no pain

But we all think-Jehovah will reign.

He taught from inside-and Jehovah was not there

But God was-and He wanted to share.

God is Love-simple and True

He’s inside Me-He’s inside You.

Jesus knew-and wanted to tell

God is Home-there is no Hell.

The World wouldn’t have it-He had to go

And we still,today-believe we know.

If you believe in Hell-if you believe in Hate

Then your answers are hidden-somewhere in Fate.

There will come a time-when you will see

Who you are-and what’s to be.

Until that time-remember the story...

To ease your pain-to ease your worry.

Once upon a time-there was a man

A great Mystic-with a great plan.

To tell the World-to show the Way

To provide answers-that will always stay.

To believe in Love-and know your Heart

To know you are One-and not apart.

To see the Truth-behind the Lie

Of War God beliefs-and questions of Why.
