From the moment I awake-til time for bed

All these problems-circle in my head.

How can I smile-how can I relax

When so many burdens-can leave their tracks.

Late at night-still in my mind

I close my eyes-and Peace,I find.

It is there,that I-meet with You

With burdens kept-that are long overdue.

Why even try-to carry them all

With a chip on my shoulder-10 feet tall.

As I release them to you-I,then,realize

Its not that bad-and tension flies.

I can smile-because I'm alive

And I can achieve-because I strive.

I may get overwhelmed-by burdens of today

But before I go to sleep-I relax as I pray.

You take away my weakness-and give me strength,instead

And forgive me for mistakes-and harsh words that I've said.

So no matter what,in life-that may come my way

I know I'll make it through it-as long as I pray.
