| Chapter 3 Bulma looked at Vegeta. Vegeta looked at her. "Vegeta" she whispered. Vegeta looked up at Trunks. Trunks just looked at his father and then looked up at the top of the staircase. "Uh-do you want me to go check on her?" he asked. Vegeta gave him a dirty look. Trunks backed off a little. "I'll take that as a yes." Trunks ran up the stairs. Bulma turned around and looked at Vegeta. Bulma looked down. Vegeta held her close. Bra didn't move she just sat down on her bed and looked down. Trunks walked in all of a sudden. He looked down at his sister. "Bra?" Bra didn't look up. Trunks knelt down in front of her. "Bra what happened?" Bra looked at him. Trunks lifted her head up with his hand. She had not just been soaked with water, she had been crying. "Bra what happened?" Bra still had tears going down her eyes. She bit her lip. "J-Jake…and…Jessica…they…" Trunks understood what she was saying. He looked away. "Oh no." he whispered. He looked at Bra. "Oh Bra I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry little sis." Bra began to sob. Trunks pulled her close. He held her tightly in his arms. Trunks also had a tear in his eye. It fell into Bra's wet hair. "Bra you have to get into something warm. You're going to get sick if you don't." Bra looked down. "I don't care." Trunks pulled her head up. "Well you may not care but I do" He pulled Bra off the bed and pulled her into the bathroom. "C'mon Bra, put this robe on." Bra took the robe and Trunks started to undress her. Bra didn't say anything for a while. He put his arm around her shoulder. "C'mon Bra in here." He brought her over to her bed. She sat down. Trunks sat down beside her. "Bra tell me exactly what happened." Bra looked over at him. "Vegeta I'm going to check on Bra, are you coming with me?" Vegeta gave a nod. They walked up the stairs and into Bra's room. They found Trunks and Bra sitting on the bed. Trunks had his arm around her. Trunks saw his parents and stood up. "Bra why don't you get some sleep." Bra laid down on the bed. She curled up in a little ball. Trunks pulled the covers over her. He walked out the door and closed it behind him. Bulma pulled Trunks over to the side. "Trunks what happened?" Trunks pulled her over more away from Bra's door. Vegeta followed. "Uh- Bra went out with her friends. They went to that club they always go to, and Bra went to get a drink, and she remembered that Jake and Jessica had both gone to the bathroom, and they hadn't come out for a while. Bra went to check it out." Trunks stopped. He rubbed his bangs away from his eyes. "Uh- she found Jake and Jessica making out in the backseat of Pan's car." Bulma almost fell back. Luckily Vegeta caught her by the shoulders. "Oh no." she said. Trunks banged his fist against the wall causing a hole. "I swear to god, I'm going to kill him! I swear on the front of the bible I'm going to kill him for what he did to Bra!" Bulma put her hand on his shoulder. He shook it off. "No mom I'm not just saying that I'm really going to kill him! LITERALLY!" Bulma looked away. "Trunks." Trunks stomped off. He slammed the door to his room. Bulma looked down. Vegeta smirked. "He's not the only one who's going to do a little killing Besides I never liked the boy anyway." Bulma shot her head up. "Vegeta!" Vegeta glared. "Nobody hurts my daughter and gets away with it." Bulma sighed. "Vegeta….not you too." Bulma walked to their room and closed the door. Vegeta walked over to Bra's door. He placed his ear on it. He could hear her crying. Bra was trying not to cry but she couldn't help it. She really loved Jake, she couldn't believe that he would do such a thing. Bra cried herself to sleep. 18 flew down to 17's cave. He had insisted that he'd live in an isolated area. She landed in front of it. She walked in. "17!" she called. 17 came to her call. 18 crossed her arms. "Well? Did you find anyone?" 17 looked away. "I met this girl. She was the most beautiful creature I have ever seen." 18 smirked. "Was she there alone? Did you make a move on her?" 17 crossed his arms. "No she was there with her boyfriend and friends, but her boyfriend disappeared with some other girl she knew." 18 gave a nod. "Go on." 17 leaned against the cave wall. "It turns out he was making out with her in the back seat of her friend's car." 18 looked away. "That's sad" 17 shut his eyes. "Yes it's very sad. I know it sounds weird but I really wanted to kill that guy." 18 looked up. "Did you?" 17 gave a nod. 17 looked at her. "I have an excuse to see her." 18 raised an eyebrow. "I met her hours later, at the park. I gave her my jacket." 18 rolled her eyes. "so..?" 17 smirked. "It was my favorite jacket." 18 grinned. "so you want to see her again?" 17 grinned. "Maybe." 18 leaned against a rock. "What does she look like?" 17 smiled. "She had turquoise hair, blue eyes, when I looked into her eyes I felt as if I was drowning in the blue ocean." 18 smirked. "Very poetic for an Android, 17" 17 frowned. "By the way, what are you doing here?" 18 smiled. "I wanted to check on you little brother. I have a family of my own now. I've learned how to look after the ones I love." 17 looked at her. "You should be lucky that I haven't destroyed your family yet 18." 18 grew angry. "17, if you even think about hurting Krillin or Marron, then I'll kill you. I may not be whole android anymore. But I still have my android strength." 17 grinned. "Relax sis I'm not going to hurt your puny husband or your little girl." 18 turned around to leave. "Well good. Have a good sleep brother." 17 smirked. 18 took off into the sky. 17 looked behind him. He had everything that would usually be in a house. A TV, radio, a bed and a couch. He laid down on his bed. He rolled over on his side and fell asleep. |
