| August 16,2002.Was the day I came to Story Inn to investigate Paranormal.Said to be haunted by what they call (The Blue Lady).Whether it's a Blue Lady or not what I do know if that it is why it is haunted.But I know it is haunted.I knew it the second I walked in the door of the Story Inn.And as my findings turn out,it's haunted by many spirits not just one.I was very pleased with my visit at the Story Inn.I shall start this with my interviews.I spoke with all of the friendly staff and even the newest owner of the Story Inn.I wrote down everything just about the whole time I stayed there.And one things for sure as everyone stated,it's hard to leave the place.You just have the most welcome and relaxed feeling overcome you once you are there.I will now get to my interviews. First I'd like to start with Mellisa.She, her husband, and her daughter have worked there for about six months.Her daughter is only twelve so she just helps out and hangs around.Well when I arrived at the story inn Mellisa was the first person I spoke with.She checked me in my room and showed me my room.She was the one whom I was emailing back and forth with before my visit.She's a very helpfull and friendly lady.She states she has had NO encounters of any kind since she's been working there.The only thing she said bothers her is she gets a funny weird feeling out by the barn.Which is around back of the Story Inn.So I took my bag upstairs to my room (The Blue Lady) room which is supposed to be haunted and grabbed my camera and went to check out the barn.Figured while it was daylight that be the best place to start.Of course the findings as well as all of them are on the other page.But that about sums it up for my interview with Mellisa.If you visit The Story Inn do tell Mellisa or who ever it is that checks you in Sharee Psychic sent you. Next interview was with Devon and her best friend Becca.Both tweve years of age.Devon states that she was walking by the the Blue Ladys room and saw a White vampor standing by the bed.Between the bed and the window as you first walk in.She said she couldn't make it out very well.She said it seemed to be of a woman.It was about 8:30 pm when she witnessed this white vampor.She states she was in shock and rain down the stairs to get away as fast as she could from it.Devon also states she hears someone or something going up and down on the stairs which lead to the upstairs rooms.And she states noone is there when she hears this.Becca Devons friend who is at the Story inn with her all the time says she has heard loud bangs as well but has never seen anything.She states the bangs sound like something hitting a door hard with a fist.But no one is ever around when she hears these bangs.That ended the interview with the two young ladies.Both sweet as can be and very helpful.For they are the ones who showed me around the story Inn. Next interview was a man named Doug.He is 37 years of age and has worked for the Story Inn for four years now.Doug's a tall very handsome man I must add.He states he has a encounter with something not sure what.But he says around 7:00 pm one evening he was in the office which is located upstairs next to the Blue ladys room.This is a small room, I must add.Doug states he was sitting in the chair at the computer and felt someone was behind him.He was postive it was someone else who worked there.So he turned around to see who it was and no one was there at all.He looked around and noone was upstairs at all.He just brushed it off as nothing when all of a sudden he felt something on his cheeks.He said it felt like something prickly going upward on both his cheeks.Then he states he felt something go around him and then he felt nothing.He said he cheeks hurt even like stinging.He said it felt warm when it swirled around him.Normally with spirits you feel coldness.But he felt warmth.Doug is the one who helped me by telling me who to talk to who has had encounters.That wraps that interview up. Next I went next door to the Old Mill also said to be haunted.But that's another story.I went there to find the other people I needed to talk with to interview.I meet the owner of the story inn as well.I first talked with a woman named Tonya Bokich 45 years of age.She has worked at the story inn for almost four years now.She cleans all the rooms and all the cottages that is across the street from the story inn.She states she has had encounters at both the story inn and the Doc house.If you have read some history on the story inn then you know about the doc house.If not, visit the link to the story inn's site it has history there for you.Tonya states that she has saw a small door that leads to the attic being opened after it she has cleaned the room.This trap door is in the blue ladys room.She said she closed and locked again and went to clean another room and come back and it was open again.And no one would be upstairs with her while she was cleaning.She says the same for the back door that goes out onto a small and I do mean small balcony outside of the blue ladys room.That door being locked of course is not easy to open.She also says that in the blue ladys room as well as other rooms in the story inn she will turn a light off and walk out to only come back and find it back on again.And noone else around.She states in the docs house while cleaning she heard her name called out.A male's voice.She turned around to see who it was and no one was even in the house at that time.Or outside when she looked around.She states she has smelled Cherry pipe tobacco.No one around again.She also said she has been pinched on the thigh by something many times.Tonya also states she has always had a warm relaxed feeling while she was there or working.That wraps up Tonya's interview.I must add Tonya seemed to be a very hard working woman. Next interview was with Nick Bokich 15 years of age.Tonya's son.I also met Tonya's husband also Nick's dad.He also helps mom (Tonya) out with cleaning sometimes, has had a encounter with something unexplained in the Docs house.Also one in the story inn.Nick states that he was helping mom out and heard his named called.This was in the Doc cottage.He said it sounded like his mom's voice so he went to her to find out what she called him for.She said she didn't call him nor say anything at all for that matter.Nick states that one day while making the bed in the story inn, while in the blue ladys room, he felt something grab his leg from under the bed.He jumped back he said and looked down and saw the bed skirt move like something was under the bed.He was scared but looked under the bed and nothing was there at all.He said it grabbed his ankle for just a second.But he states it felt like a hand grabbed his ankle.That was all the encounters Nick has had.That also wraps up his interview. I then talked with Frank Mueller the current owner of the story inn.He has owned the story inn for three years.Frank has had no encounters of any kind.And states he doesn't believe it is even haunted because he has tried to find something and hasn't.And let me say Frank was a total joker.He was a funny guy to talk to.He smoked a huge cigar also.But he was a very helpful man as well.He states he doesn't believe anything until he sees it himself.Which I agree because I am the same way.But we didn't talk long.That wraps that interview up. Next I meet the bartender which was the first person I meet when I got to the Old Mill.He put me on the phone with his wife.Reta Fchultz.She worked for the story inn for ten years.She states she has smelled the smell of cherry pipe tobacco in the docs house.She also said she witnessed a metal coffee pot in the kitchen fly off onto the floor for no reason and no one else around but her.She said a glass lantern exploded for no reason.She said she lit another one and it also did the same thing.She states pictures on the wall fall off for no reason at all.No breeze or anyone else is around when they fall off.She states she has been pinched many times on different days while she was there.She also states the back door has flown open for no reason.That door is no longer there.Reta was a nice woman to talk with.I enjoyed talking to her.It was only on the phone but still enjoyed our talk.Also she no longer works for the story inn but her husband is the bartender at the Old mill.That wraps that interview up. The same day I did a small reading with a girl named Amy.She was a very talented smart and beautiful girl.Age 17.I normally don't do many readings with poeple.I am more into the dead then living.Funny as that might sound.But I had to talk to this girl.She needed some advice and to be reassured about a few issues she was dealing with.Reading Amy was very easy.I could see right into her soul.She is one of a kind that's for sure.If you visited the story inn to please tell Amy I said hi for me.We talked for about a hour. This next interview was done the next morning and is my last one.I was eating breakfast when I talked with a girl named Cassi Gaskins age 17.She worked for the story inn for almost three years.She is a sweet soft spoken girl.She states she was coming down the stairs and she saw a lady wearing a long blue dress,long brown hair,with a ribbin in her hair,going down the ramp as she was going down.Then it disappeared.She said a very warm feeling that made her relax overcame her then.That was the end of that investigation.
