1) Why do you want to be a singer?
Emeligh: It's something I love to do and even though
I may not be no Christina Aguilera or Janet Jackson
it's fun and I just love it. And I feel it's something
God wants me to do, because if it wasn't I still
wouldn't be trying and everything.
Marie: I want to be a singer because I like to sing,
even though I can't really sing all that great, God
gave me a voice and I have to use it some how.

2) Have you had vocal lessons?
Emeligh: I wanted to get a vocal teacher but I never
got around to it. In 4th and 5th grade though I was in
choir and had music class in 2nd grade I remember and
we did singing in there.
Marie: No, but was in choir for a while.

3) How many songs have you wrote? What is(are) they
about? Emeligh: I think maybe around 15 but never
really counted. It's all about things either I go
through or people I know have gone through it. Like
loosing someone you love to breaking up with a
boyfriend you love a lot and then that boyfriend
wanting to get back together...just things like that.
Marie: I wrote a few, but they've just been about
upsetting friendships, broken relationships, etc.

4) Is anyone in your family a singer or dancer?
Emeligh: Not that I know of. I have cousin's though
who dance and an actor in the family, I'm not sure if
he sings. That's really all I know of.
Marie: Nope.

5) Do you like singing or dancing better? Emeligh:
Singing, because you can express yourself more.
Marie: If I could choose both, then I would, but I
like singing better.

6) How long have you been singing for? Emeligh:
Professionally since around 97 or 98, but for fun
since I was 5.
Marie: Not really long, since 97.

7) Who inspired you to become a singer? Emeligh:
Just people who have made it out there...and I saw
maybe I could make it. Also when I was in 2nd grade a
friend of mine told me I had a good singing voice and
got more into it. (Thanks Melissa if you're reading!)
Marie: Hanson got me into singing and inspired me to
start.

8) What is one thing you want all your fans to know
about you? Emeligh: I'm a very talkative person once
you get to know me...I love talking to new people so

Marie: My Mom is 1/2 Dutch and 1/2 Irish, and my Mom's
dad is 3/4 Cherokee.

9) Who is your biggest support? Emeligh: My friends
Marie (of course), Eliza, Kyla, John, Alyssa,
Michelle, my b/f Luke and people who have just
supported us since the beginning. Also Nick, Erik, and
Ricky and a lot more people I would name, but I don't
want to take up space.
Marie: Dianne Bradley. She has always believed in me,
and my friends.

10) When you make it what are you going to do with
the money? Emeligh: By my Dad a new car!!! And a
bunch of Cd's that I've been meaning to buy.... And
maybe a car of my own and some clothes and just things
like that. Maybe buy my best friends a little
something, like those who have been there for me and
everything. And I'm going to go up to PA and visit my
boyfriend and friends up there (hi you guys!!).
Marie: Help my Mom pay off some bills and for her to
get what she wants.
