Fae Interview
Interview with Lead Singer Marie Zamora from the band FAE.

1) Why do you want to be a singer?
I just loved singing. Ever since I was a little girl I loved singing.

2) Have you had vocal lessons?
I actually had a few vocal lessons when I was growing up. When I was in
school I was in all the choirs. So naturally they would give us lessons on
how to sing properly.

3) How many songs have you wrote? What is(are) they about?
Gosh, I've written over 200 songs in the past 4 years. I couldn't tell you
what they are all about.

4) Is anyone in your family a singer or dancer?
My mother used to be a back up singer in a group back in the 70s. Everyone
else in my family are song writters.

5) Do you like singing or dancing better?
Singing. If you saw me dance you'd want to give back the album.

6) How long have you been singing for?
Ever since I could remember. My parents say I was singing when I was 3.

7) Who inspired you to become a singer?
I'm really not sure. I've just always sang. I really wanted to be a singer,
oddly, after I saw the Disney classic in 1989 "The Little Mermaid".

8) What is one thing you want all your fans to know about you?
I'm just like everyone else. Some people think if you talk to me I wont talk
back. It just depends on how ya get me. If I'm busy, I wont talk to you but
most of the time if you do talk to me then I will answer.

9) Who is your biggest support?
All my friends. The encorage me so much it's amazing.  Church members,
friends, everyone I've basically looked up to. My buddy Michelle just got
signed to Maverick and though I hardly talk to her now her manager (Jeff
Rabhan) is still an overwelling support. As odd as it may sound. Ever time
we've talked to him he's given us information or advice that has made us one
step closer to our all time dream.

10) When you make it what are you going to do with the money?
Save it. Buy a few thing I might need but not a whole lot because some might
think that you're rolling in the dough but already we've gotten a few
hundred and in all we made it's going right back and we're broke again. It's
not an easy life. You've got to pay to record, you've got to pay for the
cds/tapes, you've got to pay for the instruments, traveling, you've got to
pay for everything. Even when you're signed you've got to remember you've
got to pay it back. So you try and make as much as you can and save it all.
