Kelly Interview
1) Why do you want to be a singer?  I've wanted to be a singer all my life.
I can't imagine doing anything else.  I love singing and it is an
incredible feeling of being on stage and performing.

2) Have you had vocal lessons?  Nope.  I'd like to get them, but we haven't
found a teacher yet.

3) How many songs have you wrote? What is(are) they about?  Well, I
probably have about 20 unfinished songs lying around.  I'm a perfectionist
and I usually start a song thinking it's good, but as I get into it I don't
like it so I put it aside.  Therefore I have a lot of lyrics, some good and
some bad.  I'm going to look over them soon and make them better.  I have a
couple finished songs that I'm gonna use on my demo in a couple weeks.
Most of my songs are about love.  A lot are sad love songs because when I'm
sad, I like to jot down some lyrics.

4) Is anyone in your family a singer or dancer?  No.  My sister wants to
sing in a punk band, but she doesn't have a great voice.  She has a really
loud voice that would work for a punk band.  LOL

5) Do you like singing or dancing better?  Singing!  Dancing is fun, but my
main passion is singing.  I'm gonna make sure that if I make it as a
singer, I'm not gonna lip synch so I can do difficult dance moves.  If I
can't sing while doing those dances, then I'll make the dances easier cause
I don't like to go see artists live and not hear them really sing.  The
singing is more important to me.

6) How long have you been singing for?  All of my life.  I've always wanted
to be a singer, although I was shy as a kid.  But I remember going in my
backyard and belting out the Star Spangled Banner over and over.  LOL, when
they hold more auditions for singing the national anthem at sporting
events, I'm gonna go try out.

7) Who inspired you to become a singer?  Nobody inspired me to be a singer.
I've just always wanted to do it.  But as I got older and saw singers on
TV and stuff, it just looks like so much fun.  Right now, I have some
musical inspirations though.  I really look up to Christina Aguilera and
NSYNC.  I not only love their music, but I think they're really talented.

8) What is one thing you want all your fans to know about you?  To all of
my hot male fans, I'm single.  J/K!  LOL, although I really am single.  Um,
I guess I'd like them to know... when I get fans, that I'd never stop
caring for them.  The fans make you who you are.  Without them, you can't
have a singing career.  And if I make it, I'd try to stay as close to them
as I can.

9) Who is your biggest support?  My friends.  I can't tell you how many
times people signed my yearbook during the last four years saying that they
know I'll make it as a singer.  And not to forget about them when I become
famous.  LOL

10) When you make it what are you going to do with the money?  As a child,
I promised my parents that the first thing I'd do with the money is buy
them a house.  LOL, so I'll stick to that promise.  And I'll get myself a
nice house, nothing too big.  But really, I don't need much money.  I would
be a singer if it meant only making enough money to survive.  I don't care
about the money.  I'd like to donate to charities and possibly start my
own.  I definately know that I'd like to give money to schools for the arts
programs.  I was involved in band throughout high school and we never had
the funds to buy better instruments.  Our instruments were horrible!  And
the band room was so old and had espestos in it.  I'd just like to help
those programs.  I don't need millions of dollars; nobody does.  I think
people who are fortunate to have a lot of money should give back to others.
