Long Distance Interview
1) Why do you want to be a singer?
We were all born muscians.  When I was six year old, and went to my grandma's house for the summer, I never went swimming or played baseball or anything, I was glued to the piano learning old show tunes, that's what I loved, that what Amanda and Sarah loved.  In school, we weren't the athletes, or the "brains"  we were the " Boogie Woogie Bugle Girls"  everyone wanted to sing with us during concerts.  Everyone wanted us.

2) Have you had vocal lessons?
Besides the annual NYSSMA training, we never had formal lessons.  We learn by ear, really.  We listen to eachother and tune in by that.

3) How many songs have you wrote? What is(are) they about?
Out of 9 songs, I personally wrote 6.  They're about everything.  Theyre about surviving situation, such as being picked on in High School, things like that, that other singers out there won't touch.

4) Is anyone in your family a singer or dancer?
My sister, Amanda,, is in Long Distance, our Grandpa was in a big band in the '40's, our aunts and uncles danced, my father was a drummer, we're all just muscians!!!

5) Do you like singing or dancing better?
Singing!!!!!!!

6) How long have you been singing for?
We've all been doing this very young.  As a group, three years, but individualy, for as long as we can remember

7) Who inspired you to become a singer?
For me, it was my sister, Amanda.  She pushed me along, she told me to do things, like open mic, it was her who never gave up, and never told me to gave up, and Im glad to say we're here together.

8) What is one thing you want all your fans to know about you?
We're not normal! No, lol.  We'll do anything for our fans.  Free concerts, just to sit and chat after concerts, we're not afraid to be just "people"

9) Who is your biggest support?
Everyone.  Everyone is just great, because they know we are very commited, and won't give in to what others might say/think.  My dad, I know is kind of cautious about us becoming "big" but, I think he's excited!

10) When you make it what are you going to do with the money?
Charity.  I know for one, the Heart and Lung ass.  Lupus Charities, I definatly want to give to the pro-Life fundation.  If we want to fix the problems of the world, we have to start here, first.
