| 1) Why do you want to be a singer? I want to become a singer because since I was a very little girl, I always loved to sing. I wanted to inspire people with my music, showing the appreciation for the artists who inspired me. 2) Have you had vocal lessons? No, I did not have vocal lessons. 3) How many songs have you wrote? What is(are) they about? I wrote about 15 songs since I started writing in 1999. Many of my songs are based on the realities of my life and others are inspired by different sources of media. Some of my songs include "Not So Ordinary" which is about a girl who is saying that she's not a copy of the other girls. Another one is called "I'll Do It So" which is about a girl being heartbroken by a guy but somehow, someway, she will find a way to forget about him. I write different kind of themes to differnet kind of beats. 4) Is anyone in your family a singer or dancer? Yes, my great-grandmother and my grandmother was both an oprah singer and my mother was a ballet dancer in Hong Kong before immigrating to USA. 5) Do you like singing or dancing better? Though I love both, I like singing better because singing is my first love. 6) How long have you been singing for? I've been singing for as long as I can remember. But I didn't officially perform until I was in 4th grade. 7) Who inspired you to become a singer? My grandmother inspired me to become a singer. She told me many stories of her stage experiences and I fell in love with it. She's my personal inspiration. Mariah Carey and Celine Dion are also my inspirations. Their voices touched my heart and soul and I wished to do the same. 8) What is one thing you want all your fans to know about you? I want them to know that no matter what, I'll always be singing my heart out!! 9) Who is your biggest support? My biggest support is everyone who believes in me, whether it is people I met offline, online, my friends and family, all of them takes a huge part in every little success I have in my career. 10) When you make it what are you going to do with the money? When I do make the money, I wanted to make my family and myself comfortable in our way of living. After that, I would like to donate money to the shelter because I knew some people who doesn't have a home and it's really sad to see them laying on the street, begging for money. |
