| I first got a taste of music and stage from talent shows annually held at my elementary school. From playing the clarinet to taking show choir, I did all that. I entered talent shows almost every year, I did skits, sang, danced, and even hosted the event. I picked everything up along the way from listening and watching other people. I've starred in productions including playing Scrooge in "The Christmas Carol", numerous musicals, performed with my high school show choir, and sang at my mom's work functions. It's the utmost feeling that's totally undescribable, being on stage and singing is like nothing else. I don't come from a musical backround nor have I ever taken a private lesson, I am self taught from listening to other artists and developing my own style. I see myself singing to people who I can make a difference for. I want to be able to share my appreciation and talents with the world. Music has been the biggest part of my life, and I want to be able to contribute. I want to break open doors in the music industry, (coming from a mostly asian backround.) I want to have total staying power and make it last, I want to make an impact. |
