The needs of a mountain ministry
Though our ministry has a good foundation that has come from long term effort and perseverance, we are forced to appeal for outside help. Our mother Church helped us with finances for the first year and was unable to extend that period of time due to strain on its own finances. Since that time our ministry has survived on earnings made by my wife as a school teacher. This has taken its toll on our finances as it must already must support a family of five. Yet we push on knowing that the children that we mostly minister to are going to live better lives if we keep going.
Because of the geographics of a mountain ministry, we rely on our truck to access many remote areas. Lately we have had one breakdown after another and can no longer keep up, in short we either need a new truck or some repair relief.
Our community food program is a real success, though the difficulty with that is the more successful we are the more it costs, and the more demanding the task is. Any help no matter how small would be a blessing.
