BIOGRAPHY

Lucero Hogaza de Mijares was born the 29 of August of 1969, in Mexico. Her mother, Dońa Lucero always has known how to handle Lucero's career, obtaining, as a result, the Lucero of Mexico that we see at this time. They gave her first opportunity at TV show of "Alegrías Del Mediodía" (Joys of the Afternoon) in which she demonstrated her artistic capacity. Later she entered comedy show " CHIQUILLADAS ", where she demonstrated that she was an excellent comedian.

A little after "Chiquilladas", they offered her work in the soap opera "Chispita" (Spark), except that they offered her the role of the villain, and her mother did not accept it. After all, her first CD would be on sale soon, and if Lucero played the part of the villain, no one would buy her music. Later, came her last film, titled "DELICIOSA SINVERGÜENZA" (Delicious Without Shame), where she is accompanied by 'Los Locos de la Risa' (the Crazy people of Laughter). In 1996-97 she carried out her greatest challenge this far. She made her fourth soap opera called "LAZOS DE AMOR" (Love Links Us All), where she interpreted three triplets. A very important step in the life of this star was when Walt Disney invited her to participate in one of his films for children, "Mulan", where she interprets the film's theme song in Spanish (sung by Christina Aguilera in english) "Reflejo" (Reflections). After Mulan, Lucero was invited again by Disney to interpret the voice of Jane in Spanish, for his new film "Tarzan".
