i really wanted my own webpage i thought about making Championship Manager one but then i thought well SWOS is a just simply a legend and also i do play SWOS more then any other game and i saw lots of other good SWOS Pages which made me want to make my page even more, i decided on calling my page ukSWOS mainly because i live in the UK that wasent my first site my first was called Sensiworld which lasted a week im not sure why i didnt carry on with it properly because there was already a site with that name also ukSWOS is nearly 6 months old and has has over 20 designs but i hope i have finally chossen the one i want

4.On a scale from 1 to 5 how do you rate your site?

I would say 4, i have recived many nice words from SWOS fans saying they like my site which i guess i one reason for my 4 rating also it has quite a lot of areas to browse with lots of downloads and SWOS info

5.When did you start playing SWOS?

I Guess i started playing Sensi around 1992 with my older brother on the Amiga but i never really got into SWOS properly until 1997 when my older brother brought me a copy as a Christmas present and since then SWOS has been my life

6.What is your greatest archivement on SWOS? (as a player or in career mode)

I would say my best SWOS Moment was beating Arsenal 3-2 as Chelsea i dont know why but i really enjoyed that match i think it clinced me the Title and also i just dont like Arsenal much so to beat them was fun

7.What team do you support in your country?

I Support Torquay United who are a 3rd Division side in England there never really do much but they are my local side and i will support them forever also i follow Manchester United in the Premier League

8.Are you satisfied with the appearances of your country's teams in the european cups? (UEFA Cup, Champions League)

Yes i am Happy with the European qualifaction for English Sides seeing as the Premier League is considered to be the best League in the World i think England deserves the amount of places it gets

Really my life is simply Football i play SWOS, Sensible Soccer '98 & Championship Manager on my PC then i watch Football on TV then i play Football

4. hm scale my site it's difficult question - becouse i don't like scale my own site (of corse i think 5 becouse of mine) but i know that many people think that it isn't in PHP so it's bad amateur site. So scale is to you all....

5. i know SWOS since the begining : that's exaclty "20 june 1991 year" time: 11:20 a.m :)

6. hm i think is't somethink about some record so: in SWOS i dont like play myself :( so in with computer the biggest result was somethink about 20-0 - but one thing wich i am happy is a "Official Championship of Poland 1996 (in real of corse)"

7. i don't understand this question but if it's my favourite team - is (no team but national) :) - ICELAND :)

8. well i think that in swos - all euro cups should be more constructed, i mean not a simple cup mode - but something interesting should be added :)

10. first it we must do something real to make a SWOS alive ! not any clones - bur made a new good swos there should be some realy GREAT tournament in real - since few months in some still others countries example: in poland 2003, england 2004, yugoslavia 2005, greece 2006 etc.... and players should be solidare and inside some money into this :)

Well it's always hard to rate your own site but I think it has good design and have a good content so I say a "4" (after all this was question number 4 as well, just kidding)

I have a little break between latest Sensible Soccer and first Swos, little break here means half year, so I start playing Swos a half year after it was released in Sweden Sensible Soccer I started play same year as it came = 1992 Just in time for Euro Champs in Sweden (coincident ?)

6.What is your greatest archivement on SWOS? (as a player or in career mode)

6. 8. Well yes and no... In Sweden our league ends when the rest of Europe start their leagues, so our teams are always haveing break when the Uefa Cup & Champions league is playing. Becouse of this Helsingborg could beat Internazional in the C.L qualifi-round (becouse Helsingborg was in the middle of the season and Inter hadn't start their season yet). Why I'm not pleased is becouse IFK Gothenburg many years ago and Rosenborg (Norwegen league also play same time as Swedish) has proved it is possible for Scandinavien teams to do well in C.L even they are not in the season.

9. Yes, I like music a lot (Hardrock, Rock, Hardcore, Happy Hardcore and so on) Movies I also enjoy watching and I like to travel. Sometimes I play football and floorball. When it comes to computergames I almost only like "old" games Swos is sort of the newest game I play and it's from 96/97 ;)

Greece, Samos (Samos is a Greek island in the Aegean sea with 40.000 population, famous for it's wine)

http://homepages.pathfinder.gr/amigagls/SensibleEN.html We are the site with the longest url :) First of all I don't deserve too much credit for the site. It was created in November 2001 by Panagiotis Zigouris, I learned from you that the site had the first SWOS Patch around and all the rest. I knew that the site was very popular but I didn't really knew the reason. Panagiotis Zigouris left Athens for Leicester UK to study computer science and I saw his message on a Greek Amiga Forum requesting someone to take over. I replied and here I'm now :) As you can see from the name SWOS GR is only a part of the main site which is called AmigaGLS. If you visit the main site at http://homepages.pathfinder.gr/amigagls you will see all the Sections regarding Greek Locale and the Greek official mirror site of WinUAE. These sections are created in 2000 I believe. I changed server because the geocities account had a lot of spam messages. You must take an interview from Panagiotis as well.

4.On a scale from 1 to 5 how do you rate your site?

I will say 4. With the exception of 2 or 3 sites that can have 5 star rate all the others should have 4. Personaly I suggest that the 5 star rank must be used very rarely.

5.When did you start playing SWOS?

In 1992 with Sensible Soccer V 1.1 It had some countries like Soviet Union, Chechslovakia and Yugoslavia that there are not excisting any more. The players of the Greek National Team in the 1.1 Version are now 40 years old :)

6.What is your greatest archivement on SWOS? (as a player or in career mode)

In Sensible Soccer V 1.2 Panathinaikos vs Anorthosi 68-0 on a 10 minutes game mode

7.What team do you support in your country?

Greek teams make good appearances but they don't qualify to the Finals. Football is under development here in Greece and every year the Greek teams making even better appearances. In a five year term from now a Greek team can win an UEFA cup for sure.

I'm doing a lot of clubbing and I listen to house, trance and psychedelic. With my girlfriend we are currently participating on a dancing contest.

I often visited several SWOS links and at one moment I thought: "How many SWOS sites alive or not alive? How often SWOS sites updating?" And then I did my site where I put all SWOS links and began to monitoring for updates and other things.

Now my own rating - 4. I don't use Perl, MySQL or something else for programming my site. It's a simple work with good navigation, I think so :)

first of all compliments for your site. I appreciate that you are trying to
make something different from the other swos sites.

I thing it's a very good idea, it will help to know better each other.

Massimo Modica, my nick in the forum is Massimo32 (the number is the shirt's number of my favourite player, guess who? :) and my age is nearly 30.

I live in Reggio Calabria, Italy.

3.Website and URL, how old it is and how did you decided to make it?

The site is called Yoda Soccer Project. The URL is www.oocities.org/yoda_soccer I started programming Yoda Soccer for joke in June 2002. In that period a message from John Hare closed the door to a new swos, but the clone by Matt Sephton was really nice and was giving us a hope. After two months I was really happy with the first results, then in August I opened a site to make the beta available to all. The actual graphics of the site is by Daniele Giannarini, which joined the team in September and is doing an excellent work with the graphics of the game. My brother Marco is musician and is working on original menu music.

4.When did you start playing SWOS?

I started with the first version of Sensible Soccer for Amiga. My brother Marco made me know the game, I did not like it first, but the first impression changed after a few match!

5.What made the Yoda Soccer to have this success in your opinion, Graphics, New options or it's flexibility to customize it?

I have to say that I'm programming Yoda Soccer in the spare time, it's simply a hobby and I enjoy simply making it and playing with. I don't know if everybody like the game, may be that many people visit the site only because it is a SWOS clone! The graphics, the new options and the easy customisation are all important factor of the game, but in my opinion the most relevant is always playability, the match must be funny and actions must be various! I hope that playability of Yoda Soccer will increase with heading, tackling, and a better goalie.

6.The Yoda Soccer is definately the most famous of all the Swos Clones. Should we expect further development of Yoda Soccer?

Yes, the game is far from finished and we still have a lot of ideas and we are receiving a lot of suggestions from fans. I discovered that SWOS has a lot fans all over the world, it is really amazing. SWOS is a real masterpiece and I still hope that the Sensible guys will change their mind.

7.What team do you support in your country?

F.C.Internazionale

Yes, this seems a good year for Italian football after some difficult seasons.
