LIS (Laboratory Information System):

Meditech is the Information system utilized by HCA Healthcare.  The laboratory analyzers are bi-directionally integrated with the information system with verified/released results immediately available at various stations throughout the hospital and in the offices of those physicians interfaced with the system.

Physicians who are on-line may also access patient information, including laboratory and pathology results, within the Hospital Information System from home.
