Although she had always considered herself to be a food-lover, to her shame, her knowledge in French cuisine was very limited. It had always been a topic of unrelenting teases from her friends and determined to shed that image, Sandra decided to dine at a nearby French restaurant. She remembered that in her highschool French class, she had repeatedly heard of a famous French food called "escargot", although she didn't remember exactly what it was. Still, she was excited at the prospect of some fine dining.
When she reached the restaurant, she was taken aback by the luxurious atmosphere, and blushed at her less-than-formal dress. But, since she was too hungry to go back home and change, she decided to sit down nonetheless. Within seconds, a well-groomed waiter approached and began talking in perfect French. She almost choked on her water, as her French was absolutely horrible. But not wanting to look ignorant and embarrass herself, she quickly searched for a way to order without revealing her dark secret.
