Of baited kisses
that touch my flesh, his
eyes smile at me.
The arrogant fool!
His mind marches to that
of an enigma.
Eyes, brown
like muddy puddles,
however, soft like that of the earth.
Earth's child, why do you
taunt the flesh,
in arrogance, you numb the mind,
and skip the heart.
Relax, Earth Child,
succumb to the bliss
of untold measures.
For I rule the earth
and you the flesh. . .

This poem came after I was rejected by this guy, who I was most desperately wanting. After serveral attempts to gain his attention, I sat down and thought about the situation, what conclusions I came to was that I wanted to get him to noticed, but he was going to be tough to attract. In the end, I ended up giving up the persuit, and aiming for a better target. Hee-Hee!
