Lindsay, just call me "Chips" plays Drums in Riot City...

I was found in a cardboard box at the back of the Capitol Theatre in Sydney in the sumer of '59, of course, Sydney was a lot different then, it was the dawning of the age of Aquarious, The New Seakers had just finished playing to a packed house and there were people everywhere.

A couple of nice hippies took me back to their commune, just outside Bargo on the way to Canberra, where I quickly learnt to play the drums, cook amazing veggie meals, tie-dye and make wicker baskets. It was a happy childhood but having no real formal education, I was forced to take a job with Balmain Car Rentals at the age of 12 to help support my musical ambitions.

It was not long before I had move to the front counter, things progressed very slowly for the first 31 years until one day this baldheaded rockabilly dude, who I later learned was Torrin came in to hire a van. He was all dressed in black carrying a double bass. I knew right away he must be a musician just like me. We got talking and he invited me to try out with the crew from Riot City. The guys loved my drumming so much I was given the green light and have never looked back since.
