Gorman was born in England and moved to Australia shortly after he learned to speak, although he still retained a strong English accent. The Son of a Navy Captain...he is a large man, feared in some circles, not only for his brute strength but also his cunning.

He listened to the best of sixties psychedelia before meeting a man named Colin. Through Colin he discovered reggae. From another dodgy bugger, Lister, he learned how to be loud and offensive. He then cut his hair off and decided to become a little more respectable. It almost worked. All this occured at the tender age of somwhere in his teens.

All of these factors make up the Count Prince. Best described by one J. Fitzpatrick as "Some Sort Of Being" Gorman taught Ruffy reggae, whiskey and the Rolling Stones and in return Ruffy taught him the how four cans of bourbon and coke and dancehall go so well together.
