Marco was a founding member of Riot City and played in the band between 12 May 2001 and 14 July 2001.
Marco's my name, and I'm an old muso from Perth, WA. I came to Sydney about 2 years ago with the Howlin' MoonDoggies, an unmanaged neo-rockabilly band, which was good while it lasted, but the time is now, and now is Ska, rockabilly's cousin from across the Carribean.

My past experience in music was very country-orientated, including performing with blues harpist Ivan Zar, toured WA with the Alamo, a country rhythm & blues band, which taught me a lot about rhythm.

My musical influences include; Brian Setzer, Eddy Blondel, Los Lobos, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Chris Cheney (Living End) ,Paul Roman (The Quakes), Last Hemeroids.

My experience with Riot City has been a pleasant ride, and I have found that you can have fun making music, espescially with an 8 piece band with brass, it's a nice touch.

I think the future holds many suprises for this band and I am glad that I am part of it!
