1 Nov 2002 Debut of two originals, "Burn it Down" and "If You Want To Go Home" at the Harp Hotel
23 May 2002 Debut of original "Have Mercy" at the Harp Hotel.
11 May 2002 Riot City's Birthday Gig and Torrin's Last Gig. "Gimme Some of that Old Moonstomping" CD produced and sold on the night as part of the door entry. Debut of Riot City original, "RuskiSka", which was also Lister's debut with Riot City.

2 May 2002 Torrin announces he will be leaving Riot City. The birthday gig on 11 May 2002 is to be his last with the band. Lister starts to practice with Riot City.
20 Apr 2002 Gigs on 22 March, 5 & 20 April were recorded for inclusion on a "Live CD" to celebrate the band's first anniversary.
23 Feb 2002 Debut of the third Riot City original, "Don't Argue" at the Harp Hotel.
8 Feb 2002 Debut of another Riot City Original, "Come On" at the Harp Hotel, Tempe. Crappy had also just arrived back from overseas and played half the set.
6 Dec 2001 Riot City's first Tour. Went to Melbourne and played the Ska Bar at the Arthouse, Birmingham Hotel Collingwood and Mayfields Collingwood.
20 Oct 2001 The lack of a Guitarist was a problem, but the Rioters battled on. There were a quite a few who came forward wanting to play guitar and one that came to a couple of practices, but Riot City found they could scrape through gigs without one. After six gigs without a guitar, Tom came along to practice and the next weekend was doing his first gig with the Band at the Annandale Hotel, 20 October 2001.

22 Sep 2001 Riot City play their first original at a gig. "Act of War" at SKA TREK 2, Cambridge Hotel, Newcastle.
25 Jul 2001 Marco leaves Riot City.

14 Jul 2001 Crappy's last gig before heading overseas.
13 Jul 2001 Riot City's first "Headlining" Gig at the first of Newcastle's SKA TREK's. Emily's debut with Riot City.
13 Jun 2001 Emily starts practicing with Riot City to take over on trumpet while Crappy's overseas.
12 May 2001 First Gig. Tartan Heart at Green Square Hotel, with S*K*A*M who are also having their first gig.

14 Mar 2001 Practices move to St Peters Studio as noise complaints close down practice and Enmore Speakeasy. First time we the band uses a PA together.
6 Feb 2001 First Practice at the Enmore Speakeasy. Practices each week during February with one drummer, coming and leaving, Marco joining on Guitar and at the end month Lindsay joining the ranks on Drums.
20 Jan 2001 The Punks Picnic at Sydney Park. Torrin, Marvin and Mark make a commitment to join Riot City. Drummer and Guitarist still needed.
2000 Riot City exists as an idea of King Ruffy's. He talks about it with Crappy at AMR and various band members are discussed but nothing definite happens.
