How to read this page

This is a page from an independent web site. To return to your former place, use the BACK button on your browser.

This page is by no means a complete cemetery information base. It is added to weekly.

To understand the code bar - note the following.

acc - means access to the location. An access of 10 means that the cemetery is easy to reach. PP denotes that the cemetery is on private property.

cap - capacity of graves. This is a rough estimate to give a general idea of the size of the lot.

main - maintenance - if the cemetery is well maintained it recieves a 10. A 1 means that little attention is given to the upkeep. This would indicate that the plot is all but unknown.

rem - remote factor. A 10 would indicate that the cemetery is far from any road, building, or home.

scen - scenic factor - a 10 indicates that it is a pretty setting.

int - my own personal rating. If I find the cemetery very interesting I give it a 10.

death - this records the oldest graves found, or those of special note such as civil war soldiers, famous people etc.

names - the last names are listed. If there are more than 10 of the same surname, a + is listed beside the name. If 20, then ++. If there are more than 30, +++ will follow.

int > - these are interesting items found such as elaborate stones, stone fences, old iron gates, etc

other symbols - - s/o means south off or south of. The same applies for e/o, w/o, and n/o
