OBITUARY - Bridgeport Telegram April 28, 1923
Mrs. Mary (O'Leary) Synnott, widow of Thomas Synnott, died (at age 71) yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. (Margaret) George Freibott, 141 Wheeler Avenue.
She is survived by three sons, James F., Timothy L., and Thomas A. Synnott, and six daughters, Mrs. Freibott, Mrs. James J. Dolan, Mrs. John F. Skane, Mrs. James Farrington, Mrs. George Gore, and Sister Maria Gertrude (Ann) of the Sacred Heart convent, New Haven.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the home of her daughter, and a half hour later at St. Patrick's church where a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.

Mary married Thomas SYNNOTT in 1871 in Ireland. (Thomas SYNNOTT was born in May 1850 in Ireland and died before 1923 in Bridgeport, Fairfield, CT.)
