And the bigger it is the less credible, so a conspiration just has to be done big to be effective and nobody will believe because conspiration theory is discredited. Of course, circular argument, but who cares? Most people DON'T really reason, are confused by very simple phallacies and arguments. So just state the fact that conspirations, particularly big conspirations, are not possible. To most people stating something is enough to PROVE it. It is like arriving first, it is assumed that arriving person is all that is needed when in fact there are other requirements, like starting legally. So how many conspirations are there around? HOw many secrets arebeing kept out of the reach to protect a few people and their fear of losing control? Are we all, people, people enough to be responsible for ourselves or we have to be protected and taken care by few individuals who have superior... what? Reply Fabrizio J. It is the Berger idea of occult power, were real, true power is not visible nor belongs to conspicuous men but lies in common individuals who have power precisely because they are not conpsicuous. But Conspiration Theory *also* means the idea that such conspirations don`t exist! Conspiration theory in the second sense is discredited, so conspirations in the first sense are effective, because Conspiration Theory in the *third sense* is not discredited. Yet precisely because Conspiration Theory is not discredited (third sense) is why it is or has to be discredited as a logically obvious consecuence, because by denying a reality construct (conspirations) it at the same time allows them in fact. Conspiration Theory discredits itself by being an immediate, a priori denial. It is suspicious per se and cannot be used as a criteria to falsify theories; it is a false criteria. Notice the comparison with Occam`s Razor, which instead provides a *positive* criteria to prune explanations: the explanation must be minimum, the simplest, since Nature is efficient. So applying Occam`s Razor it is easy to see why Conspiration Theory must be discredited and discarded: conspirations are the easiest of explanations sometimes, as it is easier to recur to occult power and the coalition of few wills to explain problems, than to accept lengthy explanations or accept long chains of coincidences, particularly because men can hide their tracks so that a *successful* conspiration is not noticed. Note too that only *failed* conspirations are exposed and recognized as such; successful ones sort of close on themselves to form an *almost* terse surface, though the complexity of Reality is such that there will always remain traces that point to the actual facts, the actual conspiratio. It is this facts which are brushed under the rug by Conspiratio Theory. Conspiratio theory has been discredited, so no conspirations are no longer effective because conspiration theory has been discredited. It is very easy, for instance, to assume that there was indeed a conspiration to kill JFK: he very probably, as a man of his time, wanted to legalize drugs, and was killed by those sectors who, because they are *not* men of the times (how old are they?), want to keep drugs banned as a form of control. Other conspirations can be discussed the same way... (though of course not all conspiration theories will prove sound). Reply Fabrizio J. What is easier to believe, that lots of people suffer collective hallucinations, fake videos, invent stories and the like, or that a few officials from governments hide the sheer fact that there are UFOs and contact has been made, even that contact has been ongoing throughout the ages? The idea is so pervasive among all cultures and there are so many myths and legends that it is certain we have been visited. Note there is a discriminating context here confusing the main issue of immense wealth being hoarded by a few individuals. Is this possible? Of course! The magic of accountancy, financial wealth and anonymous societies. Are they all Jews? Of course not. The pork industry would no longer exist; we would have been convinced that eating pork is forbidden because .... (fill here any plausible myth appealing to people on non religious grounds to stop eating pork 8). Or, more likely, there would be no opposition against jews. It would be bought out. That this is possible comes from the fact that few people are really aware of what can be done with lots of money. Really lots. Basically, most people are decent, so the absolute power that huge quantities of money bring is beyond what decent people find decent. Money can hide any individual from publicity. We have a banking secret dogma. Money can prevent other individuals from gaining wealth. Money can hide crime. Money can corrupt people in power and disinform and do other things meant to keep wealth in the same hands. And money definitely tends to accumulate. It would be very difficult to uncover who really owns what. To pretend to know who is behind great wealth accumulations is infantile and follows a hidden agenda. A Jew conspiracy? Unlikely. A superbillionaires` world? Very likely... Reply Fabrizio J. Simply stated: world piece can be attained but there are interests to disrupt piece. By whom? Weapon factories, arms dealers, armies and their budgets... Armies are necessary to defend a country. But up to some point. After that... If two countries are in a constant struggle economic relationships will be established helping keep that conflict alive. A positive, self reinforcing dynamic. The Strong Man as the average man. To Power, Reason is a strange thing, destabilizing if not joined together. Reason, and knowledge, change the state of the world in a constant discovery and explanation; Power wants to remain equal to itself, protecting itself to ensure its continuity, its source. So Power opposes Reason and tries to disperse it, to rest it power. This is most obvious in Dictatorships. The dictator supresses the intelligentsia that can contest its power. Intelligentsia is uncomfortable for it can point errors and can veil the holder of power. So wise men and scientists and the acquisition of knowledge and extraordinary people who can achieve are controlled and frustrates *as*a*matter*of*principle*. The dictator appeals to the common man by being an example of what the common man can achieve, though common men lead common lives and are contented for they are fulfilled in their aspirations. This gives power to the strong man, and whoever complains is quickly suppresed to avoid troubles. This system is very stable but at the same time explains why dictatorships ruin countries through stagnation, for every movement out of the equilibrium is seen by the dictator as an unforseeable contest against his power. In democracies the same principle rules. In this case the president has to appeal to the widest possible audience, has to be a super average, paradoxic. But then no man must be seen as more important that the president. Overachievers are also frustrated, but not so obviously. Though in extreme cases they can follow the same rules of the game as in a dictatorship. Since in democracies intelligence and the acquisition of knowledge is seen as a source of power and development, it is let develop ut not rewarded nor recognized. Nor protected. It is disperse. And the law is then The more intelligent, the more the individual has to be dispersed. This rule operates at all levels of power: government, enterprise, family. Intelligence (charismatic per se, as it had a survival advantage and had the meaning of helping spread the genetic content of those following its rule), exercises true and real power, beyond the monetary and institutional (Galbraith) sources of power. It is then persecuted and frustrated, instead of nurtured and respected. This is particularly true when power rotates according to prespecified rules (unlike power taken by force), for the people in power will exercise and abuse it to remain in power *comfortably*. Thus, the father beating the child for being more intelligent than he is (has to grow and create a new family, even if his family would gain by the insight of the new generation); the boss firing the creative individual to avoid being overstepped; the institutional power repressing the intelligent individual to avoid being opaqued; countries threatening the leader country. This big conspiration, (which has led probably to the systematic suppresion of notable individuals and the existence of generations of `geniuses`), has the effect of maintainig the given group in a state of less welfare than it could achieve if natural power, whatever its sphere of influence (not all intelligentsia desires to achieve power over men), is allowed to express itself to its full consequence. Biologically, the meaning of this conspiracy is to prune the most successful (fit) individuals and debilitate, make poorer, the genetic pool of the species. In a chaotic and unforesseable Reality, where Reason is not proven to have a *permanent* survival value to the species, even when it is its best (and defining) survival advantage, systematically pruning intelligence can lead not only to a regression, but even to the eventual anihilatio of the whole species, as it cannot be foreseen when the possible achievement of an extraordinary individual will be the necessary step to help the continuatio of the species. In other words, we cannot assure that the next supressed idea is not the next species lifesaver, or, that the right idea will arrive in time despite having supressed or discouraged those individuals whose specificity is to be sources of originality and creation while encouraging individuals whose specificity is to be ableto predate on other individuals, particularly those creative ones. Plagiarizing, piratism and supression of intelligence are a crime against society and the whole species, yet are performed as a matter of principle by the holders of economic and political power... 7x1012xx451 xx1x174 Reply Fabrizio J. It provides an excuse to go and beat people and a focus to get more budget and, of course, provide leadership to the US worldwide. Did you notice how distressed was Bush *after* winning the elections? Weapon dealing is a good business. Also, there are rumors that Hussein at some point was a very brilliany individual who could have assumed a leading role... Countries are black boxes, you can`t know what really happens *in* a country. And terrorists are usually sponsored by one army or another. Why are irakis so obstinate fighting us if they were liberated and the occupation is temporary? Many things move under the surface. (can you check throu _phone_ if the threads under my name are seen throughout the US and other couies under the same name?) Search by content. I wouldn`t accuse the Army, of course, but 9/11 ought to have been easily preventable and stopped in time, before the free demolishing of the Towers (rather ugly, in fact) took place. Osama, though, seems to have lost power, whether real or a ploy. Reply Fabrizio J. The police and oth agencies (army, secret service) have many surveillance tools nowadays. They cn control individuals from afar with money and other manipulatio tools. It is easier and less expensive to keep an individual sequestered in the street than in a jail under accusatio such as destabilization, or being overtly intelligent, or on the brink of discvering something governments don`t want. There are many secrets and top secrerts around. You may inadvertently discover one of them. And then your paranoid turns for the real (read Leprechauns! Individuals without guilts suffering paranoia may well be the real subjects of a conspiration. And they can`t get help because *EVERYBODY* knows it is an illness. Probably the oldest conspiracy. Future CANNOT be forecasted but in limited ways. Why? Because Reality is Chaos, chaotic. Though there are patterns, of course, and we can act through them. But real future forcasting as a NECESSITY? No. Yet... A prophecy is a very powerful tool when coupled with a conspiracy. YOu make the forecast, then conspire to make that prophecy turn out. Convince somebody you can see the future and THEY WILL MAKE THE PROPHECY FULFILL ITSELF. They will act ASSUMING the prophecy is real and thus make it real. A prophecy as a control tool is very powerful and creates interests with a heavy inertia. People get controlled by the prophecy because they fell DOOMED. There is nothing else they can do so it is beter to self defeat and act doing whatever is required by the prophecy to be fulfilled. Say of somebody: "it is prophecied he will die in jail", and if you are respected as a seer, the moment that person asks you for the key, what will you say? The two messiah prophecies in the Bible are self-defeating. The power of prophecies comes from fact that they are expected to be fulfilled exactly. Once the pattern of a prophecy is recognized in life, two dynamics begin manifesting. On one hand, facts are matched to the prophecy and the prophecy is denied the moment facts deviate; on the other hand, facts are matched to the prophecy and *acts* are chosen to fulfill the prophecy. This opposing dynamic allows a skillful manipulator to either fulfill or deny theprophecy acording to his will and interests. A prophecy establishes a highly recursive system with lots of feedback. There is always a point where the manipulator, as there must be *somebody* assessing the fulfillment of the prophecy, decides whether facts match close enough the expected events and either help events fulfill by acting in such way that acts become necessary, or makes events deviate and become spurious. In the case of the messiah prophecies, the Jews` prophecy requires very special conditions to be met. It was this special conditios being unfulfilled what determined the end of Jesus and his denial as the Jew Messiah. In that historical period it didn`t serve the political powers to recognize Jesus as the messiah, as the Elijah condition was not met by the person who would play that role. It is this condition what defeats this prophecy, as it is contingent on the appearance of a messiah figure with the necessary characteristics (mainly, be jew) and the preceding figure. This acts as a multiplication of probabilities, making the probability small enough that it can be negligible. It also introduces two degrees of liberty. Either one of the figures can be denied or accepted according to the current needs of the assessing figures, in this case the Elders of Israel. In the case of the Catholic second coming, the selfdefeating characteristic is the triggering of Armaggedon (as I discussed partly in the thread Guilt of Atonement). The recognition of a new messiah is conditioned by the willingness to accept a state of war. Either an adequate figure will not ne recognized without an Armaggedon occuring, or it will be denied for fear of Armageddon. For both prophecies the selfdefeating characteristics allow both churches to keep an indefinite wait, though in the case of the Catholic Church it also gives the incentive to *actively* oppose any messianic figure under the reasoning that it would trigger Armaggedon and signal the end of times. Tihs prophecy can be seen as more elaborate and more successful than the Jew as it gives the Church a guide to act and permission to _destroy_ any messianic figure which could threaten the predominance of the Church. Since this prophecy announces a total end and no further future for the Church, it is very improbable that the Catholic Church will accept a new messianic figure, which would automatically assume the characteristics of an enemy and be fored to create a new religion, despite its possible interest in giving continuity to the structure of said Church. Incidentally, this can be compared to the adage of the ways of the Enemy (the devil) to be subtle. As it stands, this prophecy serves more the interests of th devil than of the Church, which has the assumed function of waiting for he Second Coming... A stratagem and clever manipulation meant to defeat the Church and any possible subsequent messiah? Such is the power of prophecy. B*O*N 8S8I8G8 c8 o o 8d 8 ! 8 \ _ / > w < N-O-R-E Reply Fabrizio J. That I bear his name. Then "predicted" Luis Bistrain's theory of beliefs would be brilliant. Teere is a Theory of Beliefs by an Argentinan (latinamerican, don't remember his name) author which Bistrain knows and found and let me read. He assumed that by predicting that Luis Bistrain's ToB is brilliant I would act enviously, not knowing I was renamed, and would plagiarize THAT theory. That way he would prove: to be a seer, that I was Luis Bistrain and that I was a plagiarizer. But he was wrong: I developed a model of human interaction linked to my work in neural networks that works as a unification of sociology and physics and the mind: The model of Browhaha. I named it that way, theory of beliefs, when in fact it is something else, very special, and links nicely with Alive and Human... in a way I haven't revealed, PRECISELY because he was using it as a prophecy. He is an impostor and I am Danilo J Bonsignore. I am not guilty. I am in NY and you know. The error will be worse if you let him go in my place. Reply Fabrizio J.
