THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

	"President" Bogumił Pawlak... My name is Bogumił Pawlak I was born in Poland. On the 23rd September 2001 I was elected as the President of the EDPA.

	"Vice-President" Dominik Orzłowski... Dominik Orzłowski - born in Poland. Arrived in Australia after the WWII. On the 23rd September 2001 I was elected as the Vice President of the EDPA.

"Secretary" Monika Hołda... Hallo there ! My name is Monika Hołda (Kukla) I was born in Germany (both parents Polish) on the 7.7.1949. We arrived in Australia in May 1950. I finished my schooling- year 11 in 1966 in Morwell - Latrobe Valley. Worked at the SEC - Personnel Dept. in Yallourn before I was married. I was married on the 30.1.1971 to Victor Holda and moved to Dandenong where we still are to the present date. I did not attend Polish school as we did not have the facilities, we had to speak Polish at home, I know Poland only from our holidays in 1974,1984 and 1997. My first contact with the Polish Association was typing out various forms for grants and helping in the library (typing up the cards). I am on the Committee at Dom Polski "Syrena" from 1985 where I have held various positions e.g Secretary for English, committee member. I have been Secretary twice , this position I hold at present. I worked for a year on a paid basis as an Ethnic Access Worker for the Polish people in 1985 at the Polish Community Centre "Syrena" for 3 days and 2 days at the Dandenong Community Centre . When I was in this position I was encouraged to do our first newsletter which was done quarterly, it still continues but on a monthly basis, and I am still one of the editors. In 1987 for 7 months I worked in a paid position as an Ethnic Access Worker for Youth and based at the Polish Community Centre "Syrena". I have been collecting membership fees for 10 years and know each member personally. Hobbies: Reading romantic books(polish/english, crosswords(english only), dancing, singing and most music except for Jazz and Heavy Metal, Dislikes: Gossips, insincerity . 	"Treasurer" John Majdan... John Majdan - born in Poland. My first involvement in the Community work began with the Polish Ethnic School Piulsudski at Rowville, which eventually led me to be elected in to the Executive Committee as a Treasurer in September 2003.
