Toowoomba Accommodation
1st semester 2003 of University of Southern Queensland going to commence early March 2003. The entire student, either local or international students will move to Toowoomba soon. At the moment, a lot of accommodation that is near to University is available. Normally, all the good location units will fully occupied. Hmm..so,  better you book yourself a unit or room before you come.
Group 1 - Meals provided, Cleaning, Electricity and Gas included.
USQ Residential College
  • Breakfast and dinner only, you have to pack you lunch during breakfast period, Australian food.
  • Good environment, with recreation room - table tennis, pool. Outdoor - beach volleyball.
  • Pay your own laundry
  • Quite expensive if compared to others over Toowoomba - more than $180 per week.
  • 5 minutes walk to University
Downsview Lodge ( Website not available )
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided - Dinner -->good. Australian and Asia food. Lunch --> medium
  • Good environment, with recreation room - table tennis, pool, pay TV, mini swimming pool
  • Pay your own laundry
  • Rent $125 - $ 160 per week, the cheapest place to get someone to cook for you.
  • It'll be good for International students, try Aussie Food !!
  • 8 minutes walk to University
Group 2 - No Meals.  Cleaning, Electricity and Gas included.
Students Village
  • Very Good environment, very clean, the cleaner have done their job well.
  • Telephone provided ( Free if call within Student Village, no monthly rental fees )
  • Pay your own laundry
  • Rent $65 - $140 per week, ( $65 room no window )
  • Quite noisy
  • 5 minutes walk to University
Group 3 - Everything, rent, gas, electricity, toilet paper, pay by yourself. ( Budget - cheaper if compared with above )
