B21FT CYLINDER HEAD PICTURE PAGE

- unfortunately this is BCP (big coolant passages) head.It has been checked in a surface plate. It is straight, nice and shiny, but a lot more needs to be done.

- here, the intake ports were gasket matched. I have used the old gasket as a guide, as it was still stuck to the head. -  very easy job.

- view of an improved intake port. I have used a Dremel grinder with various bits to make the valve bowl smooth. Especially arround the valve seats.

- the pictures above show all the imperfections in the head as it is manufactured. Have a closer look at the pictures and you will see what can be improved. I'm sure that there is a lot of free horsepower sleeping in this head.

- finally all intake and exhaust ports have been modified. I'm sure that this head will produce more hp and torque, as well as improve fuel consumption.
