Welcome to the Three Bobs, version four, "layers," so named because of it's use of layers! Over the past several months, 3B has been struggling to hold on to practicality. Due to many personal troubles, I have not been able to really work on it. This is almost ironic, since 3B is the first site I ever conceived, and has really had the most thought put into it.
IMPORTANTE NOTE: this site is spoilerific. Since it focuses on opinions, rather than providing info or convincing people to read the series covered here, I cannot support a no-spoiler policy. Please don't read the articled/opinions in this site unless you're rather up-to-date on the series in question. The only exceptions are the "author" sections, which are totally fictional, and won't spoil your reading.
Most Recent Update:
February 9, 2002: Kablowie! After so many months of trying, i have an update for 3B! there is a new article in the HP section.
October 6, 2001: You know, I love updating. It makes me feel so important. I've added (finally) the review for EW12 to the Viking section.
September 8, 2001: Yay! An update! Today, boys and girls, we have our first Animorphs Essay! To read it, just go to the Ani section, and you'll find the link under "in short."
May 13, 2001: Well well, here we are. Animorphs had gracefully gone to it’s grave. I have a new article and the last of the books all done in the Alien section. You know, maybe it’s just because right now I’m all sentimental and nostalgic, but I think I’d like to re-read all the Ani’s, and write a little something for each one. But that’s just sentimental me talking. Remember, I am a lazy bum.
If you go to Elforium this month, you will find a little section called “In Memoriam” for Animorphs. The series is dead, but it’s alive in spirit!
I’ve noticed a lot of spelling mistakes on all the sections of T3B. I’m planning a layout change for summer (something simpler) and you’ll find my spelling trouble gone for summer. Review of last EW book coming soon.
Site Outline:
Bob the Alien - science fiction series (go)
Do note that upon clicking on any Bob, you will first be taken to his personal philosophy section first. This explains who and what each of the Bobs is, and why they host their particular series.

Site History and Purpose:
In 1996, I encountered the name "Bob." I'm the sort of person who will use any excuse the laugh. Be it the joy of spinning in a circle, or words that end with a "Y," anything can get me going. The name "Bob" is just one such thing.
However, the people became restless. They began asking me, "Who's Bob, Elf? Is he your imaginary friend?" What could I do? I said yes.
Naturally, I had to add details to keep everyone entertained. I told then what Bob looked like, what he liked, where did he go on vacation. This changed Bob. It made him evolve. He could no longer just be content with being an imaginary friend. He became a complex, dynamic entity. He could not even be contained in a single body, but had to become manifest as three. The original form of Bob is called StandardBob, but it is no longer possible to find StandardBob in the universe. Instead, we find the Three Bobs.
To find out more about each Bob, go to their philosophy sections, by clicking on their pictures.
Interestingly, it took THREE years for the idea to further elaborate itself. My friend HelHawk and I decided to make a site on out favorite things. However, this proved too big an endeavor, and we had to call off the arrangement. Still, I could not let the Bobs die. I resurrected the idea, as a smaller version of itself, focusing only on book series.
Since September of 2000, I have been struggling with what to do with 3B. I craved originality, so my original idea of offering information on these series seemed bland, since there are so many excellent sites which do this. Instead, I decided to share opinions.
And so we arrive at the present...
Older Updates:
April 6, 2001: Wow-oh! These are some pretty rapid updates! Amazingly, within a week of my last update, I have another. Cycle ten (that would be books 47-52 and EC) has been added. Enjoy!
April 1, 2001: As part of the major general Elforium update, 3B is totally renewed. Along with the new layout there are EIGHT new articles! I worked my little bum over March Break, my eyes felt like they would fall out, my fingers were cold from bad circulation caused by typing, but the eight artices are here! What does the future hold for 3B? Well, I hope to add in my reviews for the last Animorphs books ( ::: sniff, sniff :::), and the last Everworlds ( ::: Waaaa! ::: ). After I finish crying, I'll be looking forward to reading KA Applegate's last series, Remnants. If i like it (which I'm betting I will, KA is yet to dissapoint), Rem will be getting a place in Bob the Alien's room. Finally, I'm working on another article for the HP section.
On 01.17.01 - our first update of the new year - i've up and added the animorphs aliens section.
On 01.12.00, we came back! After the breif break, 3B is back with a vengance! The ani (alien) section is ready for your restricted enjoyment. I say restricted because only three out of four sections are compleate. Patience, my child, all in due time... however, i must interupt this happy moment by sharing some very sad news. morphz had announced today that animorphs will end after #54. thw hole ani community is very shaken up. since the alien section will be finished during december, i hope to do my best for that section untill that time. BUT, horror upon horror, ew will be ending too! it's a very sad day in elf land...
....hiatus break....
On 20.08.00, I put most of the 3B online. Yay! There's 0 (that's 'zero') content here... now. I wan't to put everything up before I start writing. Feel free to tell me what you think. BTW, if there's a white stripe at the bottom of the page, Geocities did that, not me!
