Phoenix doesnt rise from the flames!

The Phoenix Consortium will not take part in this weekends Malaysian Grand Prix because it missed the November 15th deadline. The consortium which wouldnt have paid off Prost's debts but would have taken the grid spaces were hoping to take the grid at Sepang and become the 12th team, Gaston Mazzacane and Tarso Marques were exprected to be the new drivers but the earliest the team could appear on the grid now is March 2003. The consortium would also have to put down $48 million as a deposit
