11/4/07 midterm fun
I'm writing this entry in the middle of writing my take-home midterm on modern Jewish history. Currently, it is three pages long and I anticipate a fourth. Medieval Jewish history has a paper instead, although I've talked to some of the other students in the class and they are also stuck. If anyone can interpret the term Archisynagogus for me, that would be great. The upside was my class in the market. It's not every day you can take a field trip to the market and see the good luck charms people have on their shops. This midterm is basically looking at pictures and giving historical facts. And then there's Freshman Writing: 5 pages. I do have an interesting (surprise) topic though, and I'll try to put the paper here when it's done and I've recovered. I'm hoping to get everything done in time for Aryeh and Michal's wedding on Wednesday (which is a possibility if I avoid sleep, food, etc. for the next few days). 2007-11-04 15:09:41 GMT

David: archi - a prefix meaning first, chief or original. Archie as in archaic, so archisynagogue means an ancient synagogue. Love, Oma
