Transport Tycoon On XP

Transport Tycoon Solution for Windows XP:

The first thing to do is download this file: TTD-On-NT.Zip

Next, you will need to download the Windows Version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Click here to download it. Install the game as on NT/2000 or XP as you would on Windows 9x

Next, when you try to run the game you will get a registry error. To fix this problem, go to the directory where you installed TTD and put the patch you downloaded earlier (ttdpatchw.exe) in there.

RUN THE PATCH! The patch will copy some files and then it will run the game.

If there is an error, here are some possible solutions:

Create Process Failed:
Delete the file TTDLOADW.OVL and run the patch again.

Error Reading Registry:
Click on the START button, then click on RUN and then type regedt32 (make sure it's not regedit.) Then find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/FISH Technology Group/Transport Tycoon Deluxe/HD Path and double click on it. After doing that, just click on ok. Don't make any changes to it. Now run the game again.

Game not in full screen or there is no sound:
Try to set TTDPATCHW.EXE or the game itself to run in Compatibiliy mode for windows 95 or 98. Just right click on the file and go to properties and then click on the compatibility tab.
