History

History changes...will be updated soon.

Would you like to know how The Animé Archives came to be? Well, there's a simple explanation for it =]. I'll tell you about it.

A long time ago, around November of the year 1999, a few simple sites were created. They were very simple, boring really, nothing much in them except for a few pictures. The first one was a Pokémon site; then came an all links site, DragonBall/Z/GT, Sailormoon, Street Fighter, and lastly, Digimon. By now, it was March of 2000 and out of all sites, the most popular out of all of them was the Digimon site, Sailormoon, and links. Keep in mind that at that time, each members of our team (Sakura, Syaoran, Kari, and I, T.K.) had one or two of the aforementioned tiny sites and worked on them individually. Then we got together and worked on the Digimon site, filling it with more information and even more images. But soon, and for obvious reasons, our own individual sites, so much smaller, was getting neglected and we would have a tough time managing so many different sites. So in the beginning of September, 2000, we took all those separate sites (Digimon, Pokémon, DragonBall/Z/GT, Sailormoon, Street Fighter, and links) and squashed them into one big site. Also at that time, we made a brand new section, Card Captors. About two months after that, Gundam Wing and Escaflowne was included. Ever since then, we've tacked on new sections like Evangelion and the soon to be revealed section...uh...it'll soon be revealed =].
Well, that about concludes the history of our site up to the month of April, 2001. We thank all of our loyal supporters whom have been with us since we had those "tiny sites"; for without them, we could never go on! You're kind comments and assistance have helped us during the times we needed it the most and thank you for everything! You, the visitors, are what keeps us going and helps us when we update our site. We want this site to be a pleasant experience for all of you and we hope you enjoy yourselves. This is one site that we all strive to make one of the biggest archives of images for Japanese Animation.

P.S.: Did you actually read all of that? Wow, I'm proud of you. =] If you really did read that entire paragraph or two, then you'll know of our plans to add a new section; something not mentioned anywhere else on our site. ^_~
