California Golden Seals

Originally part of the first twelve teams, the Oakland Seals became the California Seals in Tournament #54 as the magic of laser jet copies turned the last of the Monroe players into Eagle players glued onto plastic bases.  In #103, these players were replaced by the custom made California Golden Seals.  The Seals are popular to rookie players due to their relative obscurity as a team.  "Who are they?"  "When did they have a team?!?"  The Seals are a favourite of Greg, everyone else in the league hates them. Like Florida, since Greg has gone, it was decided to relocate the Seals...to Dallas. As the Stars they only needed to change 2 letters in their name, and the team colours are the same. The SEALS re-joined the league for round 2 of tournament #239. They continue to be a novelty.
