Minnesota Wild

The Wild originated as the Minnesota North Stars (Tournaments #1-#140).  The North Stars won Tournament #10, then went winless for 90 tournaments.  Due to their unsuccessful play, and despite being chosen by Noel almost every tournament, by #98 it was stated that unless the North Stars won a tournament by the time #100 rolled around, the would be renamed the Wild.  Miraculously, the threat worked and they won #100.  The North Stars went on to win three tournaments in a row, becoming the first team ever to do so.  Over their span, the North Stars wore six different uniforms:  Monroe, 1970's Coleco, 1980's Coleco, custom made 1980's home, custom 1993 "Stars" home, and custom 1993 "Stars" away.  When the NHL's Wild made the playoffs in 2003 for the first time, it was decided to replace the table hockey Stars with the Wild in #141 (Mar. 7, 2003).  The Wild wear custom made home, away and alternate jerseys and have since won two consecutive tournaments with Noel thrice.
