Racing Sailors e are encouraged by the activity in the racing fleet.  Now that the new season has started, we hope to see many more boats out on the water enjoying friendly competition. Last season we did have some difficulty with Bridge Crews.   It is obvious that without  willing bridge officers we cannot race.  The bridge is run on a roster  that includes all regular racing crews.   On numerous occasions we find that those who are scheduled to do bridge duty fail to turn up.  Please look at the program in the Club Handbook where you will find next to each event an allocated bridge duty.  PLEASE try to fulfil this task .  Generally, you are only called on once each season.  Also, running the bridge is an interesting experience that will also assist you when racing. If you are unable to be at the Club on your scheduled day, try to organise a replacement or at least advise the Sailing Secretary so that he can make alternative arrangements. By Clyde
