Don't go trying some new fashion Don't change the color of your hair You always have my unspoken passion Although I might not seem to care
I said I love you and that's forever And this I promise from the heart I could not love you any better I love you just the way you are
~Just The Way You Are, Billy Joel
Bandaid_99 asks: Zac, is it true that you got braces?
Yahoo_HANSON: Zac - No I don't have braces!
Yahoo_HANSON: There is nothing new about me. I'm just Zac.

CaliforniaGirlJuly15_98 asks: what makes a concert good for you guys as far as the crowd goes.... like the volume or energy? what?
Yahoo_HANSON: Well any crowd is good enough for me (Isaac). As long as we get the opportunity to play for people and they're having fun, that's the best part. Yahoo_HANSON: As long as they're having fun, that's what is important.
~Yahoo Chat, October 29, 1999
Tay: It really just like we're playing music for our own enjoyment..you know, we're out in the desert, just having a good time.

ccr747 asks: What's your favorite kind of pizza??
Yahoo_HANSON: Isaac: You know, just pizza in general is pretty satisfying!
Yahoo_HANSON: Banana and onion, ha ha.
Yahoo_HANSON: Zac: It's an inside joke.

hanson1440hours asks: whats your fave song to sing and why?
Yahoo_HANSON: Isaac: Well, aahh....that takes a lot of thought....I don't think there is any one song in particular really. It's always fun to add songs to shows that weren't originally planned.
Yahoo_HANSON: While we were on tour, we added songs, either oldies or new songs we had written, we plan on doing a lot more of that on tour this time, it makes it more interesting. But no song in particular.
~Yahoo Chat, October 29, 1999
_Wiccan_Dragon asks: Hi, my name is Helen and I'm from Pennsylvania...I would like to know who you consider to be your heros.
Yahoo_HANSON: Taylor: I don't think we have personal heroes. We are big fans of great music, so it would be great musicians.
Yahoo_HANSON: Isaac: Marvin Gaye, Chuck Berry, old rock n roll music. We really respect and enjoy that musial style. We just enjoy good music, like millions of people do.
~Yahoo Chat, October 29, 1999
dawn_the_weird_one asks: Having been in the studio for a while, do you miss the interaction with fans that you have on tour?
Yahoo_HANSON: Isaac: Well we can't wait to get on tour and play the new songs for all of you.
Yahoo_HANSON: It's funny, the grass is always greener on the other side. When you are in the studio you get anxious to go on tour.
Yahoo_HANSON: And when you are on tour you kind of towards the end want to get back into the studio.
Yahoo_HANSON: Right now, we just look forward to getting your responses on tour to the new songs.

broccoli_binks asks: Taylor,if u had to do a duet with some female singer, who would it be?
Yahoo_HANSON: Taylor: Someone we met who is an amazing singer is Rose Stone from Sly and the Family Stone. Yahoo_HANSON: She conducted the choir and did some ad lib singing. But if there was one person, I'd probably pick Aretha Franklin. She rules all soul singing.
~Yahoo Chat, October 29, 1999
skip_13_99 asks: What would you guys do if you were meeting a fan and they fainted?
Yahoo_HANSON: Taylor : We'd call the paramedics, splash some cold water on their faces.
Yahoo_HANSON: Isaac: Luckily we haven't had that happen.
Yahoo_HANSON: I think we'd just stand there in complete awe and go Whoa!
Yahoo_HANSON: Zac: We'd just be dumbfounded and not know what to do.

"It's not Hanson getting 'down and dirty' on their second album", drummer Zac, 14, said. "There's a slightly different style of music with this one, a little harder than the last one, so it's perceived a little bit that way".
~Newcastle Morning Herald, Boys Will Be Men, June 3, 2000
In the intervening years, boy bands such as 'N Sync and Backstreet Boys have ridden to fame and fortune, prompting rather spurious comparisons.
"I think the reason that we're compared to that genre of music is largely because we have a very similar fan base", guitarist Isaac, 19, said. "I don't know how you deal with that. On a purely musical level, I think we're very, very different".
~Newcastle Morning Herald, Boys Will Be Men, June 3, 2000
The threesome wrote and co-produced all the songs on the new record, shared vocals and played most of the instruments. So, with the new album, Hanson is taking nothing for granted. "You're always crossing your fingers, you never know what could happen. It's always a toss", keyboardist, Taylor, 17, said.
~Newcastle Morning Herald , Boys Will Be Men , June 3, 2000
Ant: So, they've got a little older, a little wiser. But what's the main difference?
Ike: Something that is, that is, somewhat significant but we don't really notice it, is the voice change.
Tay: Yeah.
Ike: And people, I think, recognize that pretty right off, because, you know, the voices are different so they're not instantly going, "Oh, Hanson, with those little kid high voices."
~CD:UK, March 8, 2000
devoted2ike asks: What was it like working with Jonny Lang?
Yahoo_HANSON: Isaac: It was great. We met Johnny last year in England on tour. We went to a movie together.
Yahoo_HANSON: He came in about three weeks ago and played on several songs. It was a really fun. He's a nice guy and of course plays incredibly well.
~Yahoo Chat, October 29, 1999
I enjoyed working with them immensely. Because... not only the obvious of being very talented, but also being really good guys. Really well-balanced, good guys. I thought it was great.
Bob Marlette, co-producer of "Wake Up"
You are so beautiful, to me you are so beautiful, to me can't you see you're everything I hope for you're everything I need, baby you are so beautiful to me.
