October Antics

OK, so I'm getting used to having this puppy around all the time. Don't tell mom, I'd even go so far as to say that I kinda like the little booger. Mom says I'm going off to college this month. I can't wait to be a big dog! I'm planning big things while I am in school - can't wait for the parties to begin!

Mom, Georgie, Beamer and I went down to Fresno to visit my grandparents & go to the Big Fresno Fair! I'm the ONLY one of the dogs that got to go to the fair though -yep, I'm special! My friend Melanie even took me on stage for a demonstration. I sat up and smiled most of the time.

Beamer and I got to dress up for Halloween too! Of course, I was the angel & the little squirt was the devil. I think it's fitting -even if Mom says that Beamer is an easy puppy. He's only easy becase he has ME to tell him how things are supposed to be done around here. Without me, he'd be a little devil all on his own! It sure is tiring being good all the time. Think I can rest this halo on a set of devil horns?? Bad can be fun in moderation!

I am spending lots of time on my comfy bed in my last weeks with Mom. I know that GDB University will be fun, but there's no place like home! Mom said I can't take it with me, but do you think they would notice if I brought my bed into my dorm room?? Though, the other guys might think I'm a sissy! I just like to be comfortable! There's nothing wrong with that, right?? Oh well, I'll enjoy it while I can. Mom says I'll think the heated floors in our rooms are cool though -she loved the ones at her grandparents house when she was growing up.
