Taft -Getting bigger!
The Taft is back! Look how big I am now! Mom says I'm growing like a weed. Just how does a weed grow?? Now that I have all my "Big Boy Shots" I can go anywhere! Now, this is the life! No more sitting at home in the crate, while Mom goes out to have fun! Now that I have really gotten the hang of the whole housebreaking thing, we are moving on to bigger and better things in my training! I had "Sit" down, so now we are moving on to "Down," "Stand," and I'm just starting to really get the hang of that "Wait" command. But, don't they know it's mean to make me "wait" by my food bowl?? I'm a growing labrador! I need my food!  Here are some of the things that we have done recently! I just love getting to go everywhere!
In October, Mom and I got to go on a train ride! (The picture up top is me outside the train station) We had lots of fun with the Fresno puppy group. When we got off the train, we went to this thing called a Renaissance Faire. There were all sorts of people dressed all funny there! These two goofy guys tackled me while I was walking and wouldn't let me go until I had given them enough puppy kisses.
We also went to a big party! it was a retirement party for Mom's first puppy leader, Eve. It was at this pizza place that really liked NASCAR stuff. Look at this tire! You can fit a whole puppy in there!
Hey! Who's that goofy looking guy? People always tell me that I have a big head -it doesn't look like his, does it??? I like that Snoopy guy, but I don't get why he won't play with me! We met these guys when Mom and Auntie Susan were out shopping (again). They are in Santa Rosa, 'cause that's where Charlie's dad is from.

Even with all my "Big Dog" shots, i still need lots of sleep! It takes a lot of sleep and dog food to keep up with all my growing! (And, I wouldn't say no to more food -I'm a hungry labrador! I could eat a house some mornings!) So much has happened already, I can't wait to see what comes next!
