Holiday Cheer
It's the most wonderful time of the year... Of course it is! I'm here! (I'm Taft for those of you not keeping up) I'm,7 months old now -and still growing like a weed (I really gotta find out what she means by that!). It's been exciting! Mom and I did lots of traveling this month. I got to see lots of family and meet lots of new friends. For the most part, at this point in my life, I understand what all my commands mean. I'm just perfecting them and learning that I have to pay attention to Mom no matter what distraction is around. (It's SO much easier to be "perfect" when she's holding my food bowl!) Here's some of the excitement we have faced...
The Guides To Be puppy group had a special holiday party. This is my friend Barnaby. It looks like we are kissing, but in reality we are talking about how silly our raisers dress us up to be.  All us pups were good (We had to be! That Santa guy had presents there for us!) We looked pretty silly, but had a great time!
Christmas celebrations continued when Mom, Georgie and I headed down to Fresno to visit my grandparents, their dogs Lester and Jessa. Auntie Susan, Uncle Andy and Granger were there too! What fun! Everyone says my grandparents turn their house into a winter wonderland for the holidays. Boy are they right! These are just a small bit of the decorations that hang around their house! Can you imagine 5 dogs running around this house?? Yikes! We even scared ourselves at times!
This is me, relaxing in my "pup tent." It looks pretty silly, but it works great in a pinch and is easy to take with me.  Sometimes I lean on the edge wrong and tip myself over -that's when the fun begins! When its on its side, I can pop the top right off and come out for a romp when no one expects me to! But, Mom got smart and now doesn't use it unless she is right there to make sure I do not escape. *pout*
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Wowsers, after Mom and her friends woke all us dogs up in the middle of the night, just to say that, I thought they were crazy! And just look how tired it made me! I couldn't even control my own tongue! Next time, I'm hiding on New Year's Eve!
