Drama Girl

by E.W.S.

A classroom. Mid-afternoon. Present day. Posters for plays and movies indicate that this is a drama classroom, and that all students herein are drama students. GIRL A reclines at a desk, reading a play. The door cracks open and GIRL B enters.

GIRL B: Blessed Be, Wiccan sister.
GIRL A: What are you doing with that Wiccan crap? We're all Ba'hai now. Lights dim to a spotlight on GIRL B as she steps forward. She looks at her feet, then at the audience.
GIRL B: Faux pas!
Spotlight abruptly vanishes, leaving only the dark stage. Curtain.
