JUNIOR SECTION
Our Junior Section involves both girls and boys from the ages of 5 to 16. They study Juku Ryu Ju Jitsu, as Taiho Jutsu is not taught to those under 16. The system uses strikes, blocks, locks, grapples and ground fighting. The higher grades incorporate traditional weapons training. Taught by Sensei Hamill and Sensei McTrustry, the Junior Section also have a technical instructor, Sensei Alan McKee, 3rd Dan. During junior training sessions, relevant games are used as valuable learning tools.

Our juniors follow instruction using Japanese terminology and from the ages of 5, begin learning skills needed for Ju Jitsu.
The Dojo devotes alot of time to grappling, both standing and on the ground. This stems from the instructor's personal backgrounds.
The training sessions give:
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND STRENGTH
Juniore members begin our classes for many reasons, mostly because of movies, or the need to learn self defence, but once on the mats, the reasons for being in our Dojo change.
Most of all, our Juniors practice with us because they enjoy it. While learning important skills of life, the Dojo provides a social club with friends, discipline and physical activity.
Our Dojo is proud to have been so successful in training Irish, British and International Champions as young as ten years old.
However, each of our students, while wanting to win and take home the gold, know that winning medals comes second place to actually taking part and having the courage to be in the competition.
