Phryon and her brother are Shainon's right- and left-hands. The trio rule almost equally: they always discuss decisions before they are made, but it is Shainon who has the final say. Nion and Phryon's tasks are a little more menial than Shainon's. Where he is plunging on ahead, the siblings are making sure he is being followed closely. While Nion is more placating toward the other pack members, Phryon is more direct and merciless with her methods.

Merciless and vengeful when crossed, but affectionate and motherly to her packmates. In many ways, she is like a big sister to all including Shainon, who would be unlikely to care for himself in times of great stress.
