A Cat's 12 Days of Christmas

On the twelfth day of Christmas my human gave to me:

Twelve bags of catnip!

Eleven tasty cat treats,

Ten ornaments hanging,

Nine wads of tissue,

Eight peacock feathers,

Seven stolen Q-tips,

Six feathered balls,

Five MILK JUG RINGS!

Four munchy houseplants,

Three running faucets,

Two fuzzy mousies,

And a hamste-e-er in a plastic ball!!

Grits and Garrett

There's nothing like a cat, unless it's two! I adopted my first orange tabby cat, Sundance, from an animal shelter when he was 5 years old. It was love at first sight for both of us! I lost him in the Fall of 2000 and it was several months before I could bring myself to think about adopting another one. Recently, I adopted 2 precious tabby kittens from a rescue center. They have truly been a joy in my home! (except when they attack my feet in the middle of the night when I'm sound asleep) *smile*
