Schedule for the Tailslappers Beaver colony.

September to December 2001

Oct 4

HIKE ~ "Rain or Shine" We will meet at Pointe Du Moulin, which is at the very south end of Don Quichotte, park in the circle and meet at the gate no later than 6:30 PM or we leave without you. BRING FLASHLIGHTS, lots of Flashlights. *** Parents please hand in permission slip to a leader at at the gate if you are not staying there. P/S*

Oct 11

Pumpkin picking. We will meet at Quinn's Farm at 6:30 PM. Dress warm because you will be sitting on a wagon for a while (bring a flashlight). ***Ask your parents for $3.00 this will cover your dues for the evening as well as costs for the Pumpkin , Wagon Ride, Juice & muffin afterwards. *** Parents please hand in permission slip to a leader at the farm if you are not staying there. P/S*

Oct 18

Investiture Night. Tonight's the night. All the new Beavers and new leaders will be invested into our colony. They will get their scarves so make sure to bring their woggles. Bring your camera there will be a lot of
'pomp & circumstance' surrounding the ceremony. We always do a snack after the ceremony, so each Beaver should bring snacks for 6 Beavers.

Halloween craft, bring your Beaver Boxes.

Nov 1

Halloween Party. Wear your costume (or what's left of it).

Bring any candy you don't like and we will have a 'Candy Swap'.

You guessed it "we all love food at parties" so each Beaver should bring snacks for 6 Beavers. Drinks will be supplied. "NO NUTS PLEASE"

 

 

Nov 8

Airplanes and other flying objects. Tonight will be Flight night.

Warm up your Throwing arm, we are going to be having airplane races.

Nov 15

Lets do what Beavers (the little furry kind) do best, we are going Swimming. We will meet at the pool desk at John Abbot at 6:30 PM Bring the whole family. Beavers will cost (dues only).

BBB day. "Bring a Buddy to Beavers" night. Bring along your best buddy to play games and a craft. Wear your uniform.

Sirens are wailing, that's right, we are going to the Fire Department.

Mystery Night!!! Every beaver must bring an item from home in a green garbage bag. We will be using these as mystery items that the beavers will have to identify by feel only. Examples; toy vehicle, stuffed animal, doll, pot, etc.

Christmas craft, bring your Beaver Boxes.

Christmas Party & Gift exchange. And yes you guessed it "Bring food" we love fooood! Each Beaver should bring snacks for 6 Beavers. Drinks will be supplied. "NO NUTS PLEASE" We will be doing a gift exchange, each Beaver should bring a wrapped gift of not more than $2.00 cost, don't put any names on the gifts. (Please no toy guns.)
