Winterfest at Olympic Park

WINTER OLYMPICS 2002
Opening ceremonies with a Torch parade. We will be going for a walk tonight. Dress really warm and bring a good flashlight to use as your torch. P/S* (Parents; we will be walking around the block, make sure your beaver is dressed warm enough to be outside for an hour.)

OLYMPIC SKATING
Skating at Shamrock Park. Meet at the park chalet at 6:30. Parents and siblings are very welcome. P/S*

OLYMPIC GAMES
We will be playing some other Olympic games. We will have our Olympic Closing ceremonies and medal presentations.

BEACH Party
And now for something completely different. A BEACH Party. That’s right, bring your shades, sandals, a towel and wear your best beach shorts and t-shirt, we are going to play beach games. Lets forget about the winter blues for an hour, and have some fun on the beach.

NOTE: We are meeting at the Omni Centre tonight
because St. Pat's is closed for Spring Break.

Lets do what Beavers do best GO SWIMMING. We will meet at the pool desk at John Abbot at 6:30 PM Bring the whole family. Beavers will cost nothing. P/S*

BEAVER BUGGIES
We will be starting our Beaver Buggies in anticipation of racing them in 2 weeks. We will be painting them this week. Bring any stickers you have that you might want to add to your custom paint job.

Easter Craft.
Bring your Beaver boxes. We will be doing a craft for Easter.

April 4

RACE DAY.
Yes we race our Beaver Buggies tonight! Bring your helmet and gloves, the track is hot and racing will be intense.

April 11

Dinosaurs
We will be trying a theme for the next 2 weeks. Dinosaurs and everything dinosaurs. Bring your dinos to beavers. Bring your beaver box for a dino craft.

Dinosaurs continued…

Annual Sleepover
Meet at the Ecomuseum at 7:00 sharp. Wear your uniform to the Museum we will change later. P/S*

SOCCER
Yes soccer. (Edgewater School soccer field) Spring has sprung and soccer starts soon. So we are going to get a jump on spring and play soccer tonight at Edgewater school. See you all there and bring your cleats if you got em. P/S*

White Tail Camp
For all White tails (Beavers who are going up to Cubs next year. Friday night to Sunday afternoon camp. See lightning if you are going to go.

For all Scouts, Cubs and Beavers at Parc Voyageur.
